ssh -X
Tools shipped with OS-X were pretty and comfortable, but troublesome after upgrades (e.g. laptop Snow Leopard with 10.4/10.5 server).
In any case, cli is just fine, and most importantly, bash and major sysutils haven't *changed* rigorously over 10 years.
With Gui utils, it's always the latest trend in UI whizzbang that takes up worthless time trying to figure out whether this simple and
once in a year task is actually accomplished by pressing a newfangled button with ribbonized toolbars and tooltips in the newer version of the same app.
I like to spend my time learning on interesting subjects without throwing away experience uselessly.
I'm willing to bet there are some very young hardware hackers on/. right now emulating their elders by rambling about how impossible it is to do SMD at home, despite my experience doing it for years before they were born.
My parents always said I couldn't have an VAX in my bedroom, but I can!
So my extremely small sample imply that GNOME 3 is a good step. For the computers geeks out there there a plenty of alternatives. Find the one that works for you.
Your granny only needs a browser and bookmarks.
GNOME 2 works for me and a very big userbase.
I know where to find it, but I won't be compiling or packaging any gnome 2 + dependencies + vfs crap for the next release
of a distro that moved to Gnome 3.
I seriously hope debian is not out of its mind and includes it in the next release (Whiner), 'cause I will fucktard all of my patches
over the years with a non-GPL license (actually only one made it, but i like to brag and Gnome 3 really sucks).
I'll ditch gnome for the next couple of centuries, because I got work to do on my work pc.
I don't want to fuck around with a gadget nor waste my time trying to grasp this years hallucinations of the gnome developers.

Your Last Option of Resort *is* running for years now.
The resulting inflation IS the primary cause of the world-wide financial war, the casino banking (=keeping up with interest at any cost) and the panic flow of wealth from poor to wealthy (=lifeboats).
The hyperinflation death spiral has already been started and cannot be stopped.
I pity the fools in the US, for burning Greece will look like heaven on earth.
At least you're recognizing any claim or right excercised by the US in the last century (cause the US is at war for the last century, not recent years) is utter B.S.
Let me tell you, killing can't be justified; simply because there is no moral base to justify it on. Human universal rights aren't a menu a la carte.
As for the score US. vs China, China is still 2 nukes behind.
On the other hand, algorithm choice is one of the biggest performance contributors and initial choices will often be made quite early, so one cannot apply this quote blindly.
algorithms = design.
without algorithms, you're bugfixing.
I've been using Vbox on windows and macosx without problems (before that VMWare and Parallels).
On linux, vbox is a hassle. It's easier and faster to use KVM, qemu (no USB though:(( ) or,
for linux only, OpenVZ.
On windows, I'd reconsider. But I don't need IE6 anymore, nor Windows.

Just wait and see. US is printing dollars at the expense of China and the rest of the world. To counter, China keeps its currency low.
As soon as the US can't keep up the printing dollars (soon, oct 2011), this artificial balance will cease to exist.
Your statement holds as long as there no accidents and waste can be disposed out of sight.
Regarding the safety and cleanliness there are some questions you need to answer:
Why does no insurance company cover?
Why are installations always located near the border of a country?
Why are said very safe mines for disposal proven not to be safe?
How is it possible to call something clean and safe when there is no actual, complete and sound
prospect on the consequences of any major nuclear accident?
Safe is something or someone, when left alone, does not do havoc nor harm.
Anything requiring multiple levels of safeguards, backup systems and constant monitoring is
by definition not safe.
And nuclear waste is by definition not clean.
I agree there's not much left. But the lethargic attitude of pro-nuclear experts lately has shown the proper mind-set
for nuclear energy isn't here anymore. Every company or government covers up problems with nuclear reactors; look at history, each problem has been hushed or downplayed until there was no way denying.
The community and future communities have and will pay the bill for any accidents and waste in money and natural environment. Companies divert responsibility, governments depend on the community.
Besides, you completely disregard the casualties of nuclear waste, the enormous problems storing nuclear waste (hello Germany) and not to mention the cost of nuclear facilities, which is far beyond breaking even. A nuclear facility
is proven to be a terrible investment and an economically bad choice.
Say, let's not make nuclear power the only solution and final consequence.
You realise *why* there were Mini Coopers in The Italian Job, right? That really wasn't product placement - they couldn't have been anything but Minis.
I'll agree as soon as I see Statham driving a Daihatsu Trevis in the Italian Job part deux.
Real mini's are too small for today's ego's.
What's different from flywheels used in old (1920-30) Lanz and agricultural devices and the braking system in trains? Approx 8000 rpm should be achieved without danger.
Yes, but the farmer doesn't pay a third party to add skins to their onions, thus increasing the cost of onion production. They may pay Monsanto, but without going too far off topic, that system's just as screwed up.
Yes, the onion farmers pay sweat and tears. Lots of tears.

THis is the year of the linux desktop
Fixed that.

sorry had to post the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQdC-e82gmk
excellent :-)
You also might consider using Cygwin.
*ducks*

Don't forget to add: stack_size = 100000000000 to /usr/local/texlive/2010/texmf.cnf !
Granted, though I'm still pondering the ordering you supplied and the presence of Capt Picard in your list.
Im impressed when they get it to run on a CR2032
Criminals, disobedient tourists and obnoxious kids will be locked in the sarcophagus for the duration of the tour.
