Actually this isn't a troll, it has been mentioned in the news several times that the US has been slowly reducing it's emissions even without the Paris accords. If you take the time and look up the information which isn't hard to find, for example from the EIA (Energy Information Admin) you can see where the US is doing a much better job than any country in Europe except for Germany. The US has shown a steady decline since 2007. The obvious two trouble making countries are China and India but it's more fun to keep blaming the US for well everything. Even though I'm on the conservative end of the Democrat party being a Blue Dog, I still don't understand the need to attack the US for everything that's wrong with the world. The US isn't forcing China to build a crap ton of coal plants or having India allow sewage draining directly in the Ganges river not too mention the dead bodies that float down that river while people take a bath in the sacred river. People complain about the big evil SUVs and Trucks in the US but it's amazing what people think when the weather changes. On my recent trip to Ohio from Kansas, I pulled no less than 5 cars out of the ditch due to snow using my evil Silverado 2500 HD. When I spoke to the Police that were on site for some of them, they told me that these people would have waited hours to get pulled out if it wasn't for people like me. One car had a family with small kids in it and no one had stop by in hour to help them out they were located in the Flint Hills. The US is no where bad as even our own citizen's like to make it seem. Sadly....

Could these coal plants be converted to natural gas like the US has been doing? Its cleaner and reduces CO2. Obviously its not perfect but natural gas is much cleaner and has helped the US reduce its CO2 emissions. From what i've read, not sure if its factual but its claimed that the US has steadily reducing its CO2 output by just converting to natural gas. Just wondering???

With a budget of 4.whatever trillion dollars, 5.7 billion is a burp and we need to improve security on the southern border. Anyone saying otherwise is just plan ignorant, a liar, or both. When the measurements are generally incorrect according to scientists and need to be adjusted then the data can't be trusted. The data needs to speak for itself and if there are errors in the measurements then the equipment needs to be repaired. At no time, should anyone need to change the data, doing so completely negates the whole point of gathering factual evidence. It's like all the polls which show a certain outcome and then you look at the sampling data and find out that a majority of the people polled lean one particular way so you never gather equal data from all views. Lastly there is nothing wrong with questioning scientists who in some cases have an agenda of their own. As a child, I would get very sick and I always asked my doctor questions because even at age 7 I wanted to know how something would effect my, be it medicine or an injection, or otherwise. If you don't have people going around questioning everything then you don't have the whole point of scientific research. Sometimes while you think the data says one thing, you come to find out years later that you were wrong. As a highly educated person, I'm offended that you think that I have some kind of mental illness because I will question anyone and everyone to understand how they reach their conclusions. History has shown us that just because you are a brilliant scientist doesn't mean your conclusions are always correct.

I'm only 50 so I'm not that old and while I'm a democrat I simply don't by into man-made climate change is to blame for everything. Call me some ignorant insult all you want but the facts are that we still with all our technology simply don't fully understand how the climate cycles work on this planet let alone fully understand the impact of the sun. Furthermore when BS is claimed like 97% of climate scientists all agree when that has been proven wrong so many times it's silly. I grew up in Ohio and lived here during the all the snow fall during the 70s and 80s and then things began to taper off but now we are getting tons of snow again. My neighborhood looks like it did during the beginnings of the blizzard of 77/78 and that hasn't happened in a long time. I fully agree in climate change but man-made has very little impact and all the BS end of the world claims keep falling by the wayside. The reality is that we still don't have the computer processing power to handle all of the climate variables nor can we reproduce past weather history without some BS data manipulation. There is no need to change any of the data we get and time and again the data has to be manipulated for one reason or another, don't include this or that past weather events. Let the weather speak for it's self and stop attaching man-made climate change to every little event in the world. Then maybe more people will agree. Lastly this poll is all web based and easily faked.
