there certainly aren't that many pro sports teams in DC

Besides the (American) football, soccer, basketball, and baseball teams?

Granted, only the football team has existed continuously since 1936, but that's probably true for most American cities (only one or two teams continously existing for that long), so there's nothing special about Washington.

The only thing I need IE for is my cell phone provider's bill paying online. I can view bills, etc, using Firefox, but then if I try to pay, it dumps me out of their system with an "unknown error", and I have to log in again. Works fine in IE. I should email them about that.

I agree.. TDS used to be a lot better at making fun of everyone, and it was one of my favorite shows, but now it seems they've just allied themselves with Democrats and attack Bush all the time. If I wanted fake information that attacks Bush, I'd watch Farenheit 9/11 (although at least TDS prides itself on being fake..).

(BTW -- the humor columnist Dave Barry does a good job of making fun of everyone when he writes political humor... sadly that's not to often, but his book Dave Barry Hits Below the Beltway is one of my favorite bits of political humor by anyone)
