    i feel compelled to point out that it's Japanese that doesn't have the L sound in their language, causing Japanese persons to say words with an L with the closest thing they can come up with, that is, R.

    While I can't claim to know much about all Chinese languages, at least some of them have the L sound, so they probably have no problem saying "Hollywood", even if they have a comical accent.

    I have an old 5GB iPod too, and I've been using it with iTunes for Windows with no problems.. however, mine was always Windows-formatted (I just used Musicmatch and later ephpod before iTunes/Windows came out).

    One thing that bugs me about Windows is that it seems to not want to acknowledge that other filesystems exist. It's trivial to mount a FAT32 drive in FreeBSD, a bit tougher with NTFS but still fairly easy. I belive Macs can read FAT32 as well but I'm not positive. But will Windows read UFS or HFS? No, because Windows is the only OS anyone would use, of course. *rolleyes*

    You could argue that, but you'd just be trolling for karma. If the use percantages were reversed, there'd be just as many mac and *nix problems.

    That's only true if everyone ran Mac and *nix as root all the time, which is how Windows works by default. (Not that there wouldn't be people who did just that...)

    *nix (including OSX) is *more secure by design* than Windows. Saying it's not is closer to trolling than what the grandparent post said, and I guess I fell for it.

    Don't you have law that protect english ?

    Not really. About 12 (out of 50, remember) states have English specified as an official language, but that's really about it as far as "protecting English". And just because it's an "official" language in those states doesn't mean there's anything ridiculous like making people post all signs in English. People can post signs in whatever language they want. If a company thinks that speaking Esperanto will make them more money, they'll do it. It's just that everyone here speaks English, so there's no point.
