"I hope you contract and die from disease we had all but eradicated 20 years ago, then at least your stupidity will end with you."
Even my family doctor says that the things we vaccinate for are rarely lethal.
I thought I'd get hell from my family since I don't vaccinate. But my grandmother just shrugged and said all her kids had whooping cough as well as others, and they are all fine.
Many people try to post charts that show how disease death rates have fallen in the last century and try to point to vaccines as the cause. Yet they forget the sever hygiene issues of just 80 years ago where people worked 14 hours a day, and went home to a small shared house where 8 people slept on the floor with no running water.
Anyway, I don't get out much so I doubt you'll ever run into me.
Oh, and I'd rather trust the emergency room, than a vial full of no telling what that is manufactured for nothing other than pure money reasons.
You don't even find it even slightly concerning that because vaccine makers were getting sued so much for neglect and deaths that the only resolve is legal immunity?
And yes, I've known people that have had allergic reactions. And yes, I've known a couple, and have heard of many others, that have woken up to a dead infant (SIDS) shortly after vaccine administration.
"The only thing it protects them against is the lawyers in this country. Without this every single scientist would be subpoena'd and dragged through court each and every time someone had died from a vaccine."
Big pharma lobbied for legal immunity against any vaccine damage claims decades ago. Claiming they don't have time to fight lawsuits since they are too busy "saving the world". I'll start using vaccines when they are able to actually take responsibilities of their own products.
The issue I quickly realized with mysql when I tried to replace an aging IBM DB2 data warehouse (with a total of 10 billion rows) was that Mysql only supported a small subset of the SQL standard. This quickly lead to almost all of our normal queries for BI not even being able to be ported. After trying to make it work anyway I eventually gave up. I had recently started using postgresql in my home server set up since I didn't know when direction Debian was going to take with the whole mysql/maridb debacle. So I convinced my boss to scrap the mysql idea and try again with Postgres. I was amazed at how well the SQL standard was supported by postgres. It also had a far superior query planner that mopped the floor compared to mysql performance for any query with more than a couple of joins. I also like how postgres isn't owned by any one entity like mysql. It is all I use now.
There is an argument about that in Acts 15:10 "Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?"
The context is "What does God want with the newly created non-Jewish Christians?". And it was decided:
Acts 15:19 "Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood."
Ah, again. Yet another "modern" argument. The old "Lets pull stuff out of the old testament given to the Jews and wave it in the face of non-Jews (Christians)". I am not selective at all.
Not fiction at all. No one disagrees with the "historic Jesus" depicted, nor any of the historical events presented in either the old testament or new. The bible has never been discredited through archeology either.
Well that is very "modern" of you to think so. The facts are 2000 years ago:
Acts 11:26 (KJV)
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 26:28 (KJV)
Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
1 Peter 4:16 (KJV)
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
And from this same book, you get the definition of what a "Christian" is. I don't care what you think, what other "sects" think, what the pope thinks, or what the media has done with "Christmas" (which is not in the book anyway)
"while there are those who perceive the religion to be satirical in nature, it "doesn't change the fact that by any standard one can come up with" the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is "as legitimate as any other" religion"
It is not the same, it doesn't have 2000+ years of tradition behind it, which should be what the definition is. At least then we can get rid of mormons, JWs, and other modern wackiness.
If you want to go cheap, grab a thinkpad T510 ($200 on ebay right now). It is the first of the series to use a full led backlit LCD. It is also lighter than it's older brother the T500 and T61. If you want to spend more money, then get the T520. Anything after that (T530, ect) I do not have experience with. The slim 'x' series laptops are good too as well as the carbon series. But I like the bigger screens on the T series.
The reason there is a shortage is because everyone out there sucks at programming. Adding a million teenagers that think they can code because they made some GUI widget in vBasic or java isn't going to help either.
Before us engineers begin working on solving this problem, lets work on getting cheap ritalin first. Then we'll be able to solve this problem better and quicker.
The box I built in 2008 uses about 170 watts at idle with 4 core amd phenomII and nvidia 9800GT. I don't game anymore so my wife just leaves it on all day to use to browse facebook:|
But what about AMOLED TV??
For being billions of years old, one would think it would be cratered all to hell. Perhaps it ain't so old at all.
Gardasil was a multi hundred dollar vaccine when it was forced on Texans several years ago. That was part of the big uproar.

Bravo man. I feel your pain.

Perhaps that is the only reason they are familiar with it....
So their security ratings are based on whether or not they installed some wordpress security plug in? Great info there.... pretty stupid....
Agreed, evolution is fake, it didn't happen here on earth, and it isn't happening anywhere else. We are the only ones.
I've never played the amiga version, but at least looking at youtube videos, it looks identical to the SNES version. What is wrong with that?

Who wants to work for "Microsoft, Accenture, F5 Networks"???? Accenture is right down the street from me, but screw that.
