    Seriously, I have never been impressed by any DB other than postgresql. At work, we recently started migrating our app to oracle from another big name DB. I was truly floored at how crappy the oracle installer was. Totally 1995 feeling. Oh and the install it self took our ops team 3 weeks to do. They constantly kept screwing it up and having to start over again.

    I'd rather know which tab is eating up all the cpu cycles. Plenty of times with my laptop on my legs, I'll start to notice a burning, looking at Top will show FF using 100+%. But finding which page is doing it is a total pain.

    Dunno, but for video issues (not gaming related), I have always stuck by nvidia and intel graphics. They at least work without too much head ache.

    I've said stuff like this before a few times and have always regretted it (I am a Debian user too). Normally after the 3rd or 4th forced reboot of my freshly installed windows computer and I am crawling back to Linux...

    Actually, "separation of church and state" is not in the constitution. And in the original context, it was against what brought people to America in the first place: a state run church. The phase was meant to keep the state out of the church, not the church out of the state.

    When a nation turns its back against God, the church, and its citizens (abortion), it is all down hill from there.

    Wow, it was just laying around in a pile of rubble! Of course this means it is 2.8 million years old! It is not like ancient humans could dig holes or anything.

    Funny they even mention Lucy, a know fraud containing bones found scattered over a river bed over many miles and even in different layers. No one cares. There is too much money tied up in this. Plus it is anti-church, anti-God, so lets shout this discovery from the hilltops!

    This sucks, but I am still going to continue using debian (both stable and testing) everywhere. I have not found any issues with it over the years. Debian and linux is a good program.

    GPS works by having many satellites in an egg shaped orbit around the Earth all broadcasting an atomic time. Your hand held radio receives these signals,and based on the time difference between the individual (and visible) satellites, the location of the satellites is then mapped out mathematically and thus you can triangulate the exact lat and long coordinates of the hand held radio based on that.

    You are either trolling or clueless...
    A kernel is an interface between software and hardware (like a game controller...)
    Any hardware driver in the linux kerel can be built in the kernel, or as a pluggable module.
