No but at the same time, A given chip with a higher clock speed WILL out perform the same chipset at a lower clockspeed.
Depends on the kinds of operations you're throwing at it. If it's simple integer math, then yes, every single time. If it's more complicated floating point math, then it'll depend on how efficiently it's implemented in the instruction set (which is why a 2.8GHz i3 will smoke a 5GHz P4 on almost every benchmark). If it's very large array math (such as most graphics computations and AI), then it'll depend on how parallel your code is and how many threads you can execute simultaneously. You can take a modern Intel chipset, and clock an i7 at the same speed as an i3: for some types herp derp....
Did you even read the one sentence you quoted? Let's try again, and see if we can get through your ADD:

The Android concolelets, like the Ouya, could be about to upend the whole thing. It's just one more consequence of the "good enough" being embraced by both gamers and the industry. Nintendo was in this space before, and they'll definitely have to compete with Ouya, Gamestick and the sea of nameless Chinese manufacturers of Android mini PCs. The heavy games, those that needs tons of storage, CPU and GPU power will still be around, of course, not everyone who bought an Xbox was playing those. Problem (for MS and Sony) is, there's a new kid in town who wants to eat up some of that (the heavy gamer) marketshare: Valve.
I realize you are using an idiomatic phrase, but I think you're using it wrong, and (based on context) just expressed the opposite of what you meant to express.
Hopefully at one point they will catch the wrong guy that will rally the people against this...
At which point, hopefully, this abomination of human institutions called "copyright tribunal" will be... (*puts on glasses*) killed with fire.
Are you a Kiwi btw? I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in your country several years back. In & around Auckland. I'd go more often, if the trip didn't cost so much in terms of money and time.
same with Android. only samsung is making any money.
Will this fucking lie ever die, or does it have to be KILLED WITH FIRE?
However, LG posted an operating profit of Won107bn in the fourth quarter, up 25 per cent from a year earlier, on record smartphone sales of 8.6m units. The mobile phone business recorded a quarterly operating profit of Won56.3bn.
I've seen it in action, and it reminded me of Android, but in many aspects it's better. Porting Android apps to BB10 is, apparently, pretty straightforward (sometimes downright effortless) and there will be 70.000 ready at launch.
So it has a fighting chance. Let's see how it plays out. Personally, I think it has slightly better odds than Windows Phone.
Moreover, the idea that there are actually 343M active users on G+ flies in the face of everything most of us know about the network, which is that the place is a virtual ghost town.
Au contraire, it's a very lively and information-packed place, with all kinds of content and discussions going on all the time, every hour of the day. But hte problem is, nobody is sharing anything with you, because you haven't circled anyone on G+, and/or they haven't circled you back. It's like going to visit your acquaintance Frank, and before even entering you declare his house to be dark, and then go around telling everybody that "Frank's house is so dark". Well yeah, it's dark you douchebag cunt piece of shit cunt, it's dark because you didn't switch on the light, shit-for-brains.

It's quote amusing to see all these people criticising the deifying of Jobs, which isn't actually happening,
What fucking alternative reality are you living? People have been going to the Temple of Jobs even before he threw the spoon, but even more now that he died. According to his worshipers, he invented the smartphone, "put the internet in my pocket", and of course, invented the tablet.
I've been running BlueStacks [bluestacks.com] on my laptop for over a year now
Is it getting any better, as of late? I had to deinstall it in frustration, caused by all the bugs that I kept running into. I think I last had it on my desktop PC in November.
Also: do you know how to enable access to Google Play, on Bluestacks?
I am a bit hesitant, but the fact is that BlueStacks is a fuming pile of buggy shit, and left me wanting for a better alternative. So, I might try this anyway.

"Fan guards" - thoroughly indoctrinated followers of the cult of Jobs, willing to sacrifice their lives for what they believe in.
It takes many a queuing at the Temples of Jobs (also known as Apple® Stores) before one reaches such lofty spiritual/materialistic station.
Use in anything but protected environment

Kill it with fire!
You are right about that, but that's not the original argument, which was "if", not "when".
From what I understand, however, they aren't including a physical keyboard
You are misinformed: google for BlackBerry X10
This is beside the fact that BB10 has the best touchscreen keyboard of any phone/OS in existence.
Blackberry 10 has the best virtual keyboard I have seen for typing and completion.
Hells yeah! I'd pay real money to have that on my Nexus 7 or on my phone. Fucking LOVE IT!

It's Not A Problem. It's a feature!
And for once, it really is.

a web site that sells coupons worth $40 for $20 and the store gets only $10
Turns out, that really is a joke.
Seriously - I just listened to it on Youtube and it's AWFUL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCWaN_Tc5wo [youtube.com]
The Glee version is only slightly different but equally putrid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yww4BLjReEk [youtube.com]
vs. the original version which is absolutely brilliant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY84MRnxVzo [youtube.com]
Honestly, Jonathan Coulton's version makes it painfully clear he's one of the white people at the beginning of the Sir Mix-a-lot video...
Which was exactly the point of his little mischievious escapade.

and turn it into a bright-colored, flashy, plotless action movie devoid of all substance.
To be honest, that's exactly what Star Wars has always been.
Of course it isn't made up; the Wikipedia entry gives a good breakdown

Shouldn't Kim Jong Il be, you know, alive for that scenario to work?

Apparently not.
