Claiming that "misinformation" and "junk news" on social media has any widespread impact on how a majority of people vote is a red herring (and on HRC's very long list of "reasons" why she lost). Most of the people I know that vote in every election cycle don't even use social media. Old people vote much more frequently than young ones. This is an undeniable and time proven fact. Old people also use social media at almost unquantifiably small rates.
Exactly. They've not only mass jumped on a #metoo opportunity, but they're also talking how big G is too dominated by males. Google is about to let itself be overrun in leftist politics.
Instead of qualified applicants, they'll end up with people who can produce a good resume. Considering there are countless firms that will write one up for you at reasonable cost, almost anyone with a couple hundred bucks and the most basic knowledge will be able to get their foot in the door and "fake it til you make it". That is, unless you're over 40 and looking for a tech job.
Non sequitur. Paying cash, check, or credit is all the same if you're getting paid. If I'm not happy with your product or service, I can refuse to pay via credit card disputes or even a chargeback. There is ZERO good reason to mandate a cashless society which is what we're talking about here.
That is a strawman argument and you know it. There is always "some cost" but it is the difference of choosing what costs you have and what risks you'll take as opposed to it being legislated to you on behalf of the banksters.
Cashless means, ultimately, that no transaction happens without somebody getting to skim a little something off the top in the form of fees. You can't accept money digitally without paying somebody to provide that service. Some places even charge a "convenience fee" that is passed on to customers for paying a bill with a credit card. It's the pinnacle of racketeering.
I have been following this since it started. I have yet to see any evidence whatsoever of the '%FEMALENAME' letters that are being referenced in blogs, social media, etc. Until I see a pastebin, photocopy, or something published by an actual company who received it, I'm filing that under "shit-that-never-happened". The facts in this that we KNOW to be true are as follows. 1: Price received some feedback she didn't like. 2: She got offended over nothing and reacted badly. 3: She and a colleague were fired. In the real world, a business' bread-and-butter are its customers. (This is doubly true for entertainment related businesses) Treat them badly, and your business suffers. Treat them badly a lot and do it publicly, it suffers seriously. GW2 was hemorrhaging players already and Ms. Price's writing was likely playing a part. I uninstalled it about 6 months ago myself after playing for years.
MediaMatters is the propaganda wing of the Democrat party. They occasionally include facts in their missives but that does not make them "fact checkers".
The stresses associated with the lie presented as a fancy piece of paper (BA, MA, PhD, and all the BS;) while some banksters sell the other piece of paper (loan forms) off to your parents in their retirement; knowing all the while you can't possible pay it back before you're ready to retire or criminally insane. Whichever comes first.
Hope your $60000 indoctrination was worth it. Now your mind is like a fruity jello mold at room temperature.
Enough dude.
LOL

Heh
Maybe the Chinese gave them a better offer. (or ultimatum)
Q: What do most of these comments have in common?
A: Gmail
It is high time someone holds Google accountable for their negligent practices that violate even their own Privacy Policy. Google truly is evil.
/. has really gone downhill. Next thing you know, Buzzfeed will be a highly cited source.
So very true. The TI-99 that is sitting 5 feet away from me says so. Sadly, the sliderule sits in a drawer unused and nearly forgotten.
Noice

Power grid, hacking, RFID skimming, etc. You get the idea.

Silver, due to it's intrinsic value and curative/antibiotic properties, will be far easier to trade than gold.

At least it doesn't make you go blind?
In some places, the warnings are law solely for that purpose. Why don't Doritos come with an explosive diarrhea warning? Hmm?
I removed the package from my Mandrake Linux machine and zeroed out my premium balance the day after M$ acquired.
My 1980 quartz crystal watch...
