    Although probably you need a login for full text. Looks interesting and quite promising for low cost production. I think this technology might not only be interesting for countries lacking reliable health care but also budget strapped labs ;)

    For at least Efficacy and Hassles it has to argued that those are very personal, and experiences may vary. I'm sure it's true for very experienced users, but for my using Linux is mainly driven by the "it is fun" argument, because in general I solve problems much faster on windows XP then Linux, mainly due to lack of experience.

    Recently I wanted to install some software to allow Chinese input on my computer for my girlfriend, it took me several days on my linux machine, and the software turned out to be disappointing to say the least. It took me 5 mins. to do the same on Windows to install a tried and true program to do the same. I know this is just annecdotal, but the value comparison you made wouldn't return the same uniform answer to everybody :)

    You're kidding right? What public funded lab has the 1 billion US$ or more to bring a drug to the market? That's also the reason why companies prefer to "make minor changes to existing drugs", because developing new drugs, specially for rare diseases is in most cases not a viable business model...

    Sounds a bit strange to me, how can they enforce a cap if it is not mentioned in a contract / user agreement? Seems to me that their scare tactics worked and they tricked you into paying more for a business connection while they have no legal basis to say that you were using too much bandwidth...
