One way of doing this is to use Truecrypt to create an encrypted volume and sync that with your Dropbox. But this is actually a headache as it has to upload the entire volume each time you make changes and you have to mount and unmount the volume for that to occur. I found this to be too much of a headache.
After Google searching around, I found the perfect solution. And no, I don't work for the company that puts this out. This lets you create a folder in your Dropbox that encrypts the data inside that folder with your own key and encrypts / decrypts in in real time. Great solution and works perfect! I wanted to share this gem that I found and hope you guys find it useful.
Running on my laptop at 1900 x 1200 resolution through Time Warner Cable Internet, the movies I watch look beautiful and don't stutter or pixelate at full screen. Buffering a movie takes about 10-15 seconds. Netflix streaming scales to the quality of your connection, just like Slingbox. The better your connection, the better it looks. I would guess the closer your connection is to the 384 or so basic DSL, your quality would suffer.
Don't give up on gaming on a laptop. I got an Inspiron 9300 from Dell, 1.6 Centrino, with an Nvidia Go 6800 256mb vid card, 1gig ram, 7200rmp HD. The performance is outstanding. I've played City of Heroes, EQ, and World of Warcraft with all options maxed out and it runs beautifully.
The beauty of it is that it is fairly quiet. I can hear the HD in the background but it's pretty low. I'm sure the 5400 rpm one would have been quieter but I choose performance over noise.
As for the heat, it never gets too hot. It does get warm but never to the point that it's uncomfortable on my lap. You definately won't be getting any burns from this. You might want to look into this laptop and look at others' reviews of it.
Sure that would work, EXCEPT that it still asks you to put in the cd at random intervals. This would mean that you can't listen to it unless you are at the physical location that your cds are. This makes it pretty much useless. You might as well carry the cds with you.

Forget about spending it slowly. Grab your money and leave the country. Go hide somewhere for a while until the heat dies down.
Did you read the accessories page? Mr. Nuclear comes as option that you can order with it.
