I have news for you, the electric companies *aren't* taxing us. They are just collecting for the local, county, state and federal governments that *are* taxing us.
You might want to set the liberal kool-aid down for a moment, until you can think clearly.
300 was a story, based on real events in history.
How you tie this to being "pro bush" is beyond imagination.
And, don't get me wrong here, I am A) not a Republican and B) I think Bush is/was a war-monger and I do not and did not support him. And, for full disclosure, I fully oppose Obama and what the Democrats are and have been doing since the took over the House and Senate. On top of that, I oppose both major parties, Reps and Dems alike, as they are both equally responsible for the mess this country is in, and appear to be hell bent on making thing monumentally worse!
They have more now, because the mental health industry says they have more, so people in the mental health industry can use this to justify even more dollars poured into their worthless hands (psychiatrists and big pharma).
Plus, a lot of new "disorders" have been invented since then, so go figure.
They are almost as bad as the Man-Made Global Warming -- er -- Climate Change -- er -- Global Cooling fear-mongers.
... back in 1985, while underway on my ship in the U.S. Navy, middle of the Indian Ocean.
I was off watch, and went and visited a Signalman friend up above the wheel house. They had a set of huge binoculars, which they called "big eyes". The sky was crystal clear, you could clearly see the bands of the Milky Way across the sky. Found Jupiter and zoomed in as far as I could, and clearly saw some of the moons around it. It was a neat experience seeing them myself for the first time.
On top of all that, the fact that "The Flood" actually has even earlier recorded sources (Sumerian, for example) just make the whole thing even more, well not maybe comical, but at least mildly amusing.
You make the bold statement that man is causing global warming. And then, if it is warm, it is "global warming".
But, after your bold statement, after the next ten years where the temperature decreases, it magically becomes "global climate change".
That way, you can fear-monger "the people" about it, to totally justify even more taxes and abuse of the citizenry at the hands of central governments.
... they would interrogate these people like the ChiComs would. Make them feel right at home!
Atrociously irregardless, maybe?
Which, for me, has been my biggest pet peeve in relation to their "Help" files and similar documentation.
They are, for the most part "not helpful", thank you very much.

The U.S. Government is essentially paying non-U.S. citizens to maintain a web-site for Americans seeking employment?
Sorry, but my Irony Meter (TM) just pegged and is now completely non-functional.
Really? And who is to be the just of "irresponsible dissent"?
This gets into "if the government deems it irresponsible, then it is", no matter what "it" is. This is tyranny and should be utterly squashed as such.
The U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of speech, it does not qualify whether that speech is "responsible", "irresponsible" or any shade in between.

I have some advice for you: Fricken chill!

Ah, great question.
They have more now, because the mental health industry says they have more, so people in the mental health industry can use this to justify even more dollars poured into their worthless hands (psychiatrists and big pharma).

If done well, and not "1960's Batman-esque", I could go for that.
Correcting my partent:
Lensmen should get an initial book, not a re-boot. Sorry.
As far as a full on re-boot, I would have to say Star Trek, again.
The Lensmen series, done well, would be mind blowing, IMHO.
Oh, no privacy issues here, nosirree.
Private companies (and government agencies) already have way too much private information on way too many people, IMHO.
I wish them all good luck in completely destroying their business. Hats off to them!
Hmm, you are correct.
I forgot the whole "Romulus and Remus" thing.
Oh, and Caligula -- never mind.
Giving sheep "a bone".
This is supposed to be Italy, not Montana. Geesh!
Fortunately, we had some long stretches of very fair weather and very calm seas, that night was one of those calm nights.

Yeap.

MSFT: Why, yes, we are here to help!
SVG WG: Uh, O.K., how exactly are you going to do that?
MSFT: Ever heard of a company called "Netscape"? Well, by cutting off their air supply, we made them a household name!
SVG WG: Oh, great....
-- what's next? A fat tax? If so, Minnesota might just tax itself into oblivion.

At least, somehow, give a *warning* before you post such stuff!
*mumbles* Now, where is that industrial sized pack of Mental Floss (TM)?
Ah, but I can change the font size, easily!
I have a companion device, which comes with higher quality dictionaries and encyclopedias called "A-MAGNIFYING_GLASS".
Or, for a little bit of money, I can get a set of different magnification "READING_GLASSES". ;)

No.

It's all very simple, really.
