I will give you that. I guess the way I was reading it, they didn't have suspension either. If you are alowed to have a suspension, that might make it a little more resnable. I still feel though that the same thing is going to happen with a 3g phone as with the orginal. 4 mil ship. 2 mil are actuly activated. Where did those extra's go?
I agree. What is the first thing most Teenages probably do when they get on a computer that isn't there and is slow? If windows, Alt + Ctrl + Del. Why? To kill all the background noise so they can surf. Just a thought, but my 10 year old nephew knows stuff like that. By time he is my age, he is going to make me look stupid. To expect the younger "hip" crowd not to know that playing games and running programs is going to sap battery and slow the phone is putting a blindfold on.
I can't evan remember what kind of Nokia phone I have, it is at least 10 years old at this point. And IT evan has a suspend feature in it. If I make a call it will suspend games I'm playing, and if the battery is going to die it will suspend the phone in attempt to save what I'm doing. If a 10 YEAR OLD PHONE can do this, the iCRAP not being able to is BS.
As the other poster who replied to the parent said, people will buy it. Than they will jailbreak it and do what they want. The movie and music industry have proved that if you give people what they want they will pay for it. If you don't they will steal it. Plain and simple. No phone (when apple gets 3g) will come close to what "can" be done. And if you jailbreak, well you can gurantee you can use it how you want.
you got your -1 offtopic (which I now will also) but I fail to see how discusing the number of possable moves is off the topic of discussing the number of moves? *Head Explodes*
Oh come on, the stickers start to fall off. Just move the top layer half way and use a screwdriver. In a few seconds all the bricks are on the table and you can put it back together. Rubik's Cube taken apart.
I don't know. It is all fun and games untill you break a leg and shoot yourself so you don't become a zombie. Doesn't that happen in all the movies? It must be real.
Wait... This just in, adulthood has been replaced with wussification. The government is now the parent and we will be considered children until DNF is completed!
The undead were nerfed by the GM's,
Innocent bystanders submitted a report of greifing to the game server (University),
The humans in turn are nerfed by the game server,
Thus causing the humans to be ganked by the undead.
I would have to agree that it is based in Communism. I dont' think that Communism in fact works though. This to me is just a pipe dream, and EVERYONE would have to in fact be a "good" person. There are always ideals out there, and than there is what will actuly work.
I don't think that is what he meant at all. Look at the whole world of Star Trek. Theoretically in the Federation, there was no money. That is the idealistic view that I think a lot of people had in that era. That goes hand in hand with not having to work more than 8 hours a day. Why work when you don't need money as we all put in 4, everyone gets what they want, and things are perfect. I see a lot of predictions that were given during that era as a "Perfect" world scenario that will never happen. Humans are to greedy to ever do away with money. I may use a bank card to pay for my things, but hell if I can buy a brand new Mercedes with my "Lack" of money.
Have you ever driven in WA state? I swear there are just as many people on the major highways as during the day. Yes it peaks two times a day, but the average stays the same except for maybe 4 hours a day.
I don't play WoW, but I do play a MMO. Any bad feeling I get is from people who don't play video games telling me they are bad. I still go to work, I still get my sleep. I would just rather play a MMO than go sit in a tent freezing my A$$ off. I'm assuming that I don't fall into adicted evan though I play a MMO, just as not all beer drinkers are alchoholics? But am I addicted because sociaty gives me a bad feeling about something that hasn't ruined my life?
I don't evan pay the monthly fee. I bought a special lifetime for $200 at LOTRO. If I play it for 2 years I have payed for it. I can handle an MMO for two years and than have it the rest of my life. . . I must really piss of advertisers. I droped my dish TV (Hulu.com, can you say DVI and 54" widescreen), I no longer have a home phone (Dedicated DSL line), I listen to free podcasts (radio is old), and I don't read magazines. Guess/. is only place I see adds, maybe I should get a subscription. . . but I wouldn't want to miss out on being creative next time I see the apply logo (Apple: The Reality Distortion Field Is Real).
I guess I've just haven't liked TV since they took all the cool reruns off of cable and replaced them with reality.
But that is the point. For you, the internet is much more interesting. You probly have a higher IQ than the average TV watcher. My EX, was addicted to reality TV. She couldn't stop. She DVR'ed them all, Read the forums on them, watched the recaps, posted on them, speculated on them, and spent all spare moments engrosed in it. That is as much of an addiction as me spending 3 hours two nights in a row to raid the rift in LOTRO, if not more. I set aside 6 hours for my gaming online. I go out and see friends on the weekends. I dought I'm addicted, but to me she was addicted to TV. That being said I had a friend who was addicted to "EverCrack" (EverQuest). He was a pot head at the time, bought large quantities, smoked and played all day long. Didn't have a job, and rarely saw the light of day. So it goes both ways.
I agree with you, I fail to see how this is surprising anyone? Doesn't everyone know that beer makes you, well stupid? I'm not saying everyone who drinks beer is stupid, but it does lower your IQ. I just fail to see how this is a surprise that if you take a substance known to make you stupid, you are stupid.
/em /emote /me --- commands in a lot of apps to put in your username and make an emote out of it. i.e. Mirc and MMO's.

Stop looking at pron on your phone. . . Mom will find out. . .

F2... That is keyboard shortcut to rename a file. I never right click a file name. To slow.
Your mention of WINE makes me think. Can you install Safari on the other machines and take them?
There Vista system didn't have Nvida graphics cards. . . NVida's whoas
So blizzard will be makeing money off people who are off playing Diablo on the x-box. Wait, they make money twice? What a travasty.

DNF reference FTW!
So, let's recap :
The undead were nerfed by the GM's,
Innocent bystanders submitted a report of greifing to the game server (University),
The humans in turn are nerfed by the game server,
Thus causing the humans to be ganked by the undead.
Yep, sounds like typical PVP role-playing MMIRL.

Well I would have to do something before I smoked that bowl. . . Wonder how many people you could catch at 420. . .
