  1. Re:Logistics. on Feeding Through Nutrient Patches · · Score: 1

Well, now of course you know that because of our government, ANYTHING that is public knowledge cannot give us any edge as far as combat is concerned, if indeed that is what you are talking about. It's only the advancements made secretly that have really helped us... The "bad guy" will just have to get the patches too! There... Done...

  2. I just got off the phone... on Microsoft Loses · · Score: 1

I was just in a teleconference with Ballamer and the head of their legal department, and they did actually field one question about Open-Source Stuff and they said that MS has certainly appreciated what OSS has done and will do to shape the market and how it will change in the future....

  3. The problem is... on Sony's Palm PDA · · Score: 1

If you look closely, the dimension of the screen is a little off (too small). Also, the shape is based on the old Palm and Palm Pro and Palm III. You all know that if Sony was going to copy a Palm Computing Design, it would be the new aluminum/titanium/badass whatever design that actually looks like a Sony product, not the lame squared-off version.

    Three words:
    people are stupid.

    Five words:
    You are a person too!

NO, NO, NO! That's not what he said!!!

I think Tommy Lee Jones's character said it best in Men in Black:

Jay: Why the big secret? People are smart, they can handle it.
Kay: A *person* is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it.

  5. I pay even less on Four Arrested For Internet 'Theft' At OSU · · Score: 1

I go to UGA and tuition is 100% paid for (if you're in-state) by all those lottery-ticket-buying folk, so all we pay is $1000 for the dorms or whatever

  6. The i-Opener on MPAA Investigates Apex DVD Player · · Score: 1

they say: i-opener is designed to be a compliment to the PC versus a replacement. In order to maintain the simplicity and convenient size there are areas common to a PC that are not supported such as Instant Messaging, video files; downloading files from the Internet (there is no hard drive or other user-managed local storage on i-opener); viewing of Adobe PDF files; web pages that use Flash animation; Shockwave, Java, or DHTML components won't be viewable except for the html on the page; USB ports are not currently enabled, but will be in the future via software download.

SOOOOOO, you can't download files but the USB ports can be activated by a software download???
Hehe seems to be a contradiction...

  7. Re:Bad Mistake-- Actually on Robin Williams To Sing "Blame Canada" @ Oscars · · Score: 1

Actually... It wouldn't be Parker and Stone but rather Parker and that other dude who wrote the song with him..
Stone apparently didn't help write the song...
