    agree about the accuracy, but should we create a very low margin for error system, that would be irrelevant. and the stats that are collected on each game? there has to be at least 3 people watching every move of every player to catch em all. perhaps it would be easier to automate it, but at the end, you'd still need a supervisor, so it's a question if advantages can pay off developing costs.

    What if me and my wife bought a cd, i ripped it, then shared over Kazaa network to my work pc at job and listen there. Is that copyright infringement too?

    Probably noone used webcam before is due to fact its in the middle of the f00king desert :p no internet access there. But one could set up a recording system though and put it on tape, i agree on that one. But, i still think its the aliens... its gotta be the aliens, just like the crop fields, and spagetti monster and stuff.

    Oh yea, was trying to install XP on some Asus laptop which came with Vista preinstalled, the other day.... Spend whole day searching for drivers and burning custom XP cd's, because of lack of floppy driver in the laptop ... quite a pain in the ass.

    I am not very familiar with the Three Mils Island Accident, but Chernobyl happened due to human error, not technological and most of the nuclear accidents happened due to human error.

    Nuclear energy is perfectly safe, we just need to be more careful with handling it.

    Does bear shit in the woods? Isn't google almost the richest company in the world? Advertising is their #1 business. Of course its profitable. So much i cant even imagine how much.

    Not an expert, but EU would easily prohibit google to operate within EU if they refuse to obey the EU laws, well after they would fine them anways.

    How about getting rid of the extensions, like on unix systems and read the file type from the header.... and get rid of the registry while you're at it, nufn but useless mess in there... also, fix the damn driver installation procedure, make it easier and more reliable... i have never ever got all the drivers installed out of the box. and give me some debugging information, make use of logs, tell me whats going on and why things fail...

    Yes, in deed, why else do you think people moan. I think Ms Win Mobile is the biggest piece of crap ever. I would not buy a device with thah on it in a million years. Just the other day, I toyed around with this GPS receiver which had Win Mobile on. The thing hung on me 3 times in half an hour beyond all recognition. Had to take battery out to reboot it. Yea, next thing we need is brand new Microsoft's breaking system for vehicles....and guess whats gonna happen when you will have to break in front of a jammed crossroad or red light. ....Please wait....

    ...they'd need to sell 15-20 million units just to break even.... And they probably would. I for one, know, i would buy much more games if they would cost 10$. But hey, 50$ or even 50 or 50 pounds, its just too much.

    Of course you cannot go and replace all machines with Linux, but I try and present the alternatives and enforce wherever possible. We are in a process to move to Linux, and have replaced several machines, first those of users with least demands. We mostly use custom Web Applications and for that Linux is perfect.

    It doesn't have to phone home, since base XP installation has a wide open door for them to come visit you ;) They just gather data, and when they find your 'how_to_make_a_bomb.doc' be sure it will phone home.
