    Hey guys. I SERIOUSLY have been saying for a long time that I am PRO global warming. 80 inches of snow in the winter is a pain. I would much rather have lake-effect rain than snow. This is terrible. The standard predictions are that the climate will move north at a rate of 2-5 miles per year. I would be ok with Indianapolis's weather. I would prefer Evansville. If I could get that without moving, better still. Looks like need to find a new V8! :)

    I've been there, done that. This only happens when a company decides to reduce staff by abusing them into quiting. that way they won't have to pay for firing people.     Have you tried more RAM? How about 15 Disk arrays. I take care of 10 TB (yes Tera) with good old SQLSERVER 2005 on 6 machines. 4 Million books on 25 market places means 50,000,000 prices/listings that must be worked on constantly. Full/Diff Backups every day, tran logs every 15 minutes. Oh, and hardware, even dell has stuff >twice as strong as what I'm using. sure >$100K in licenses, but don't for 1 second try to tell me about LIMITS. go double digit on your T, reprocess most of it every couple of days, and then talk to me about how big you is.

    If you drive, you HAVE to have some working knowledge of some geography. Most Americans drive, so most have sufficient working knowledge of geography. At least local knowledge. Also, I'll point of that to get a pilot's certificate, you only need to answer 70% of the questions right. There is always going to be some random/oops type errors in multiple answer questions. A result of 96% correct, could mean that EVERYONE can do it. Obviously not possible since >0% of people are blind/impared/what-ever. But a nice result.

    Complain about O2 now, while you still can. Once a big storm rolls around the gulf, the O2 levels will be back to normal. The reason why the gulf of mexico is a good place to drill for oil IS the storms. Anything that can be fixed by agitation, will get fixed. Most of the problems of oil, can be fixed with vigorous agitation.

    My theory is that Oracle will make mySQL a kind of gateway product for Oracle. It makes sense to me, that a company that makes money by selling Database Engines/etc will make decisions based upon selling more engines.
