As someone who doesn't own a Mac machine but actually has administered them (not just read specs off the Apple site and decided to write a troll post), I can agree that there are a lot of similarities in limitations with WinPCs.
I will say one thing, GP is full of shit when they claim that the iMacs overheat. The ONLY times I've seen them overheat is when cooling systems are blocked (either due to dust or PEBCAK [post it notes over air holes]). Unlike IBM machines which are predominantly passively cooled. Here in Australia, well, nice hot day and no one can work on an IBM.
SATA drives are standard for low to mid range servers, if you want SAS drives you're looking at top end servers or SANs.
I'd suggest the GP go back to Engadget to troll about Apple, some of us here are professionals who have actually worked in the industry.
You obviously don't work support. The amount of replacement HDDs that I've had to hand out due to users not understanding that a laptop can't be thrown on the passenger seat of a car while it's on and open... Unless the heads are parked, moving a laptop while on is a stupid idea.
Indeed, all you might need is the odd maintenance kit (once every few years depending on ho heavily you use it) - but you can pick them up refurbished for under $150.
I'll stick with my samsung printer that works flawlessly with Windows 7, Mac OS, & Linux over a network. HP's quality with printers died with the LaserJet 4/5 series.
I'm thinking you don't either by saying that it's "guessing".
An informed guess is different to a blind guess, and to be quite frank, blind guesses don't generally find exploits or bugs.
That said, running in and guessing isn't what you do when you want to break a system, generally you need to know how the system works, or know enough to be able to theorise what might break it. It has nothing to do with guessing.
The TB not working is a known issue and easily fixed most of the time. I've had to fix upward of 50 of them. Trackball on a phone is a bad idea, they are grime & lint magnets.
And funnily enough, it seems like the most lucrative market. Hell, even EA aren't sitting on their hands with this one.
I'm what most would call a hardcore gamer, but I've got full respect for what iOS has done for gaming. EVERYONE games now because of the insane combination of $0.99 apps on the app store and the market saturation of iOS devices. Having a hissy fit because it's not a hardcore platform is to cut off your nose to spite your face.
In some ways gamers need to grow up and realise there's room enough for both hardcore and casual games.
FYI: I love my casual games as much as I like raiding in any MMO, blowing people up in TF2, gatecamping in Eve, or doing X in any "hardcore" game you can name. It's not about the target audience, it's about what you enjoy and to keep doing it.
I was about to respond with pretty much the same thing, but you summed it up succinctly.
I like my pot, I like my LSD, I don't like people telling me what I can and can't put into my body.
I love how the same idiots cry foul about nanny states, but won't let you consume a plant (btw, I'm a big fan of eating & vaporising cannabis, such a better high).
I can see you're a 360 fanboy, I won't hate you for that, but I will say that you've cherry picked a few reasons that they are different.
There's almost nothing to separate the two, they are almost identical as far as releases, with the 360 just nudging the PS3 out for exclusives and first releases.
You've gone ahead and acted like a total tool to "prove" that they are different, but anyone who's been around gaming for any length of time can see the similarities.
Then they will strip you of your domain name. You think these politicians see a difference between a subdomain and a domain? I'd hazard a guess that they probably don't even understand what domain means and just want laws to quash websites they don't like.
That's probably the most short sighted view of currency "internally it will never be worthless".
Who cares about your internal use, the real value of a currency only happens when you see exchange rates. The US$ has the capacity to crash. I've been most happy with the performance of both the US$ and the AU$ (weak US, strong AU) giving me above parity. To think it was around US$0.60 to AU$1 a little over 2 years ago, and now it's sitting around US$1.01.
It's not just because of a strong aussie dollar, it's a weak US$ too.
Unfortunately these questions can only be answered by Japanese. The statistics come from the UN and do state that it often shows willingness to report the crime. I would state one thing however, the difference between the #1 spot (South Africa) and and #54 (Japan) is quite substantial. The difference isn't quite as much between #9 (US) and #54, but still a marked difference. NB: This data is from the 1998-2000 survey, the 2008 data can be found here, but it's not as easily readable and is not ranked.
BBC is no better than Fox to be honest - they were one of the first to go after Assange when Mannings intel was leaked. Al Jazeera is where it's at for world news, and for my local news here in Australia, ABC or SBS.

And not a single one of them is designed to be run on a mobile phone. Your argument is flawed.

I'd love to see where you get your data from AC troll.
Indeed, I mean, I didn't hijack my fiance's Facebook to show her how vulnerable it is the other day. She totally didn't freak out.
This is exactly the problem with the US.
I was going to post some insightful information, but I realise it would be lost on a moron like yourself.
And funnily enough, it seems like the most lucrative market. Hell, even EA aren't sitting on their hands with this one.

Actually, I pay $60 p/m and get 2GB data and way more than $60 worth of calls... you're just trying to justify spending $600 for a phone.
Damn fucking straight. Lego is the brand name. A Lego block is the item, Lego blocks is the pluralisation of said item.
Learn English Americans!

You're thinking from a US centric view... There's what, 300m people in the US?
The rest of the world subsidises their phones properly.
I paid $0 for my iPhone 3G, and my iPhone 4.

Actually, Halo was originally supposed to be a Mac RTS. Quick google will serve you well.
Maybe this is what got Nintendo so worried yesterday
Maximo uses Java. I only know this as my fiance is an admin for a company that uses Maximo.
The Fail Whale called, he wants his job back from you.

My response to the kids:
Get a fucking crash helmet.
