Well said. I especially love this:
"Also the plaintiff alleges that the battery will need to replaced every year."
He knows this since his iPhone is now 1 year old, right?
Besides, it's up to me to stay quit -- not the government. Preface: It IS the governments responsibility to protect it's citizens.
Fact: Gambling addictions are common and desperately hurt families.
Question: Is it not then, the governmetn's responsibility to (can't totally prevent) minimize that?
If "Yes" and you still have you opinion, then what SHOULD be done?
It' been a while since I've tried Adium ad I wasn't impressed with it's interface design. It seems I should try it out again, if it is indeed the one to beat.
...I would love to say "Ha Ha! Proof that Microsoft's end is near." But this is typical for version changes. If you didn't yet spent the thousands of $$ to upgrade, then you won't be able to read the newer formats. It's that simple. The only real story here is they are pushing ODF, which is nice to see.
There are many freeware options to manage files on an iPod, just check versiontracker.com. However, iTunes is the simplest solution. That doesn't mean you have to use only DRMed songs from the iTunes Store, however. You can use any mp3, aac, etc. Additionally it will convert windows media files on import.
Would that be with or without an extended warranty? This is a reason CompUSA went belly-up: Customers who bought extended warranties were veiwed as better customers. Those who didn't buy them were just an annoyance. I know because I used to work for them back in my college days. It was just sad. I don't think BB pushes them quite as hard as CompUSA did, though.
Come on...neither player requires DRM. Having the ability to play DRMed music is not the same as "DRM-based." Ther are a LOT of people who have no DRMed music on their iPods or Zunes.
a bigger screen than the tiny ipod one
Same resolution though. That just means you need to hold the Zune a little further away...
Yes the Zune has its own software, but thats no diffrent than itunes being seperate from quicktime.
Very different actually. Quicktime is a component of iTunes. Not the same relationship between the Zune software and WMP.
Apple is more evil than MS.
Opionion stated as fact.:-)
If you look at anything that apple sells, you could easily find the same thing made by another company at leat 1/3 less cost.
1/3 is a bit of an exageration. (The Zune is not 1/3 the cost.) Often times Apple may be a bit more expensive, but its the user experience that comes with their products that people like.
I' not trying to rain on your parade, just point out some things you're missing.
" New calculations show how to make an electromagnetic "wormhole"--a tube that is invisible from the sides, allowing light to shine down the center unseen." Unfortunately, this is NOT the defenition of a wormhole. What the articel describes is a physical tunnel, that is simply invisible from the outside, not a wormhole that links 2 distant places through a much shorter distance.
"It will include improvements in RSS, CSS, and AJAX support, and will follow Firefox 3 in supporting microformats."
So it will simply copy features already in most other browsers. These "improvements" are simply things which should already be in IE7. (Maybe with the exception of microformats.) Still, it's just MS trying to play catchup, but by the time IE8 is released, Firefox, Safari, and Opera will have moved on to bigger and better things.
But there are countless jobs (many military) where you cannot have a camera phone at the workplace for many obvious reasons. I'm sure there are many corporations in the civilian sector who have similar regulations in place.
Internet access in your "trailer room" was about 3 grand a month. Absolutely insane. Some went in on it together in groups and shared via wifi, but it was still super expensive. I don't know how any enlisted member could possibly afford it. Priorities, I guess.
Agreed. There is a serious lack of crossplatform video conferenceing software that actually works well on all platforms. One can only hope Google is up to the challenge. Though if any company can do it, it's probably them...

Mod parent very interesting. That's an excellent idea.
The thing is, he knows he can tax it when it's legal again.

Defrauding Best Buy? Shame on you...

Yet, if I step into the middle of th beam, you'll see me. Not so with this tunnel.

Who's he Microsoft fanboi who modded every commen about MS not being up to par with IE as "Troll"? That's just sad...

Misery loves company. Let's point to somebody else so they're not just pointing at me.
My Nokia worked fine in Iraq, actually. Never a full signal, but it got one. Now ask me if I was crazy enough to use it... (no).
