create encrypted partitions and encrypted redactions on a phone - realize that the law says that you must unlock and allow the HS officer to look at and copy data from your phone, if there are hidden or encrypted partitions in the phone or redacted information - that would require an order from a judge to compel you to decrypt it.
What entity is going to force birth control on the human population?
depends on if you are talking about the human population or just segments of it. There certainly are a great number of individuals that would love to do it to browner segments of the population.
I got one on black friday because at target it was $200 for a slim model (with cartwheel). One of the big things for me outside of the games mentioned above is xcom2 which is a pain to play on PC just because of the size of the download and the space it would take up on my laptop (45gb)
sure he does, he is putting in place all the people he wants to do the job he wants with no oversight since the congress is controlled by his party, meaning FCC, Trade, etc that can control those kinds of decisions will be people that can make the decisions he wants with zero check and balance.
no, this comes from "Hidden in Plain Sight: Asian American Leaders in Silicon Valley" which states: *These tables do not include categories “Two or more races”, “Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander”, and
“American Indian or Alaskan Native” These categories account for 1.5% of the Professionals.
which means that as there is no "indian" category in the report you have to assume they are rolled into Asians.
you apparently don't understand what free speech is
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
twitter isn't congress
>> clever modular design
I disagree. Parents will hate it because kids will keep losing those damn controllers. Meanwhile gaming adults will hate the controllers because they have sharp edges that dig into their hands. And it there are any metal contacts (in the docking station, between controllers and pad, etc.) then everyone will hate it because they'll do nothing but wear out and get gummed up. (Remember the original consoles and blowing on the cartridges? Now add Cheetos-stained fingers if the contacts are on the controllers.)
Boo.
the controllers work wirelessly so I would assume like all game consoles they are bluetooth controllers. I wouldn't knock the ergonomics ill I have them in my hands, there have been a number of controllers that have looked awkward but felt great and vice versa - so I would need to get my hands on it.
My bigger concern is that if the main processing power is in the tablet - what happens if you break the screen since with how it is really not setup to use a case? will it still function, will replacing it be a pain? because it would suck to drop it and then you just broke both your console and mobile gaming platform.
Realize that IF his company is as successful as he claims then he will have trade secrets on that network that are vulnerable,
Of course, like every successful billion dollar corporation keeps all their trade secrets on their WEB SERVER?
The Windows Server 2003 box reportedly running IIS 6 is not a file server or an email server - it's a webserver hosting a brochureware site with links to other Trump property websites.
if there is anything relating to patent (business practices)or copyright that is not privy to the public on those servers it is covered as a trade secret and subject to litigation if stolen....
This is really getting dangerous in this country, if people start getting blackballed, hired or fired for having expressed mere support for X political party or Y viewpoint.
You think this doesn't already happen? The employment laws (by state not federal) are by and large set up to protect employers from employees rather than the adverse. If you are in a right to work state an employer can fire you for not being a 'cultural fit' or no reason at all - as long as there is no direct evidence that your poor fit was being black, pregnant, gay, etc - it is just fine by the law you can be fired, and the employer doesn't need to prove their case (burden is on the employee) . Now that the shoe is starting to be on the other foot it is annoying that anyone would come out to the defense of the poor white rich guy because he feels discriminated against for his support of a demagogue.
yes, but it shows a serious lack of understanding of technology. Realize that IF his company is as successful as he claims then he will have trade secrets on that network that are vulnerable, and if he plans to (like he has said) roll back technology once he is in the white house - he is demonstrating why he is not the guy to make these kinds of decisions.
UBI isn't communism, it's socialism. Communism says that everyone puts in everything and all is shared equally. UBI would give a ground floor but goods and services (especially specialized services and personalized goods) could still be traded and sold freely, you would still be able to 'get ahead' if you wanted to... or you could give things away for free..... kind of like the internet.
The bigger problem with this article though is that it really doesn't belong here. This is not a technology issue, or even a science issue.
not true, the discussion centers around the fact that economics are being shaped by growth of technology (this unlike the past holds true in all sectors as computation affects white collar the same way that robotics affect the manufacturing sector) and it is irresponsible to say that this doesn't deserve discussion because you want to read articles in the minutia rather than a macro article that deals with economic impact. Even more, to say that this is a conservative site and that views that you see as unimportant should not be showcased is ignorant, both on the level that this is, believe it or not a diverse community and not a conservative political site.
yeah I got one for $30 during the black friday sale - and I find it useful - sideloaded play store so I could get some non amazon only apps - mostly use it as a comic book reader , totally satisfied with it for that alone
I have had to train a replacement and been laid off 3 times over the last 10 years - it happens mainly at startups where once the company decides that it is either time to sell or go public and the books need to look more solvent. Truth is that it doesn't make a difference if you stop the visas or the offshoring - companies will adapt by vending or subcontracting -
well I think you hit one thing on the head - when netflix was the only game in town it was awesome because you got access to so much more - but when content providers all started to try to get in on the act everything went all over the place - sometimes on one but not the others, sometimes on the provider's own site, sometimes only on cable - it is an extreme example of competition making a more expensive and worse product - all of which actually helps to fuel piracy rather than fight it. content providers really should all pool together and provide all of the services with content and let the services provide bonus features, like self produced programming, live programming, etc rather than catalog releases
no it doesn't, the 9th amendment just states that not all rights are enumerated in the constitution. Essentially it allows for the challenge to laws, it doesn't grant rights. If I were to say - slap around a minor - it isn't protected by the 9th amendment even though it isn't enumerated or outlined that minors are subject to all rights in the constitution as they are under guardianship (so damage would be taken up in a civil court). You can say the same with driving your car in a public park, or any number of laws that are violations of state or civil code but not enumerated in the constitution.
you should see the city - luckily we work 1 block outside the "superbowl city" that has like 3 city blocks blocked off with craptons of security everywhere. Just glad I don't catch the ferry in because the building has security in and out where you get sent back if you have a nailclipper.
actually here in CA there are UAV's that patrol routinely on the highways. The stadium is like 45 or 50 miles away from the city so they can fly over no problem if they want
I am pretty worried about terrorist activity happening here in SF with the superbowl and all, I mean it is only 45 miles and a couple of counties away from san francisco.......
that is not necessarily true - and in fact mos of the "prep work" is vended nowadays and not even done by the firm. Large scale work for litigation is already normally handled by automation software and manual review is normally already contracted.
yes it says you have the right to bear arms - but the lack of definition in the amendment also doesn't say that the government shall not put any limitations on what constitutes this (eg, you can't own a nuclear weapon) - that being said - as electrical weapons are not regulated... it should be open.
that is actually discrimination. why should I as a 6'2" person have to pay more than a 5'0" person, my weight will be much more, obese or not. no matter how healthy I am, there is no way I am going to lose a foot of height.

as far as I know our president elect doesn't dislike puppies

this actually is theft - the keys are intended for purchase. If this was a crack it would be infringement
