    and still nothing but talk on the radio. I know it's about cell communications i just couldn't resist. I live in Philadelphia and we've got one rock station that uses more than 70% of its time to transmit mindless banter that appeals to adolescent mindsets like urination and flatulence jokes... then another 10% committed to a burned out hippie who talks incessantly from 10am til 2pm. then a couple minutes of actual rock music in the mid afternoon when every possible listener is at work.

    well freedom of religion is a benefit for Americans (and i'm certain some countries of which i am unfamiliar). google is an international company and thusly subject to the laws of each country in which it intends to conduct business activities.

    does your company have a need for an extra person or persons with the sole responsibility of managing a queue of issues? Can this be resolved with a patch or upgrade? ------would this process be a burden to the engineering department(or existing department with IT responsibilities? ------Does the existing IT responsibility impact the primary role of the department handling the issues now? those questions will give you the answer of "do i need an IT department" or if you can get away with a contract with a managed services provider.

    like my work, everyone who cant reach you by email; stops working, walks over to your cube and leans in there waiting to ask you the question.. it reaches critical mass when the people who would have been on the receiving end of those cubicle visits are all ALSO AFK at someone else's cube waiting to ask THEM a question.

    Dr Bob, you're preaching to the deaf. i would love to see a real number of people who are in graduate-science job-types and also capable of completing a 5k run in under 40 minutes. i'm certain MIT accepts more people per year than would that result. some of the brightest people abhor physical activity. I'm in network engineering, former sports-medicine geek and when i suggest any of my current coworkers join me for a 5k for charity on a saturday morning, i might has well have asked for a kidney. Even the most lean of my coworkers absconds from activity. Why run laps when you can take plavix, lipitor and play Modern Warfare 3 or 4 or whatever it's up to. I havent touched a video game since n64 goldeneye.

    here's to a man so despicable that not only did he fire programmers without warrant or warning who had worked 90 hour workweeks for him, that stole his first success from Xerox, but also to a man so evil that he alone could create working conditions so bad in a third world country used to seeing death from curable diseases like cholera... that the workers in his sweatshops in those countries would rather commit suicide than work for him one more day!     skyrocketed. What I had read in the past indicates that the guitarmakers were only using brazilian rosewood and other exotic wood types from trees that died of natural causes. i know it's naive to believe that but i doubt they have the resources to go through the rainforest like a logging company.

    I haven't bought a PC type device from a store in 10 years. I'm somewhat technical but don't most people just buy from apple/dell/hp/emachines whomever dotcom now? If you go into a retailer for a computer, you're setting yourself up for punishment! when I call HP Business, i tell them Windows 7, basic image, NO TRIALWARE. and i pay cash. (by a visa card but all at once). When it arrives, it has a nice clean image and no trialware and no grief.
