Marketing drivel? It is a press conference, they are trying to sell their product. And Microsoft has never been about the big reveal at E3, they tend to emphasize big games coming, and basically reiterating their focus for the year. If you want big surprises, you'll probably going to be more interested in the Nintendo and Sony conferences tomorrow.
Really surprised at how great COD4 looked, especially compared to the underwhelming Halo 3 footage. Everyone kind of assumed that Halo 3, being the biggest game for the 360, would end up being a graphical showcase, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be.
Arrangements don't have copyrights? I kinda remember that some sheet music in high school had "this arrangement copyright Bob Loblaw" along with the composer copyright information. Is that only when they're actually hired to make a specific arrangement?
Whenever I buy trance CDs I'm always shocked at how cheap pop/rock is in comparison. Especially with imported CDs, $20+ is not uncommon for a single disc, $25+ is pretty much the standard for double discs. This is in Canada, I don't know if it's any better in the States.
Some stations do this quite a bit, others not a lot or not at all. I've noticed TBS often has some long, big, annoying ads covering big chunks of the screen.
"so we're thinking that it's going to slip into 2007, particularly because the company doesn't want to release too many franchise games during the Wii's 2006 launch."
Which is, um, an interesting way of putting things for a current article.

Ok, that one was just ridiculous!

The footprints of the first astronauts will be visible for another... well...
I forgot the number, but it is very, very large.

The problem is that these games are marketed to the parents, who play the game little, if at all. A sale's a sale!
Metroid Prime has been unofficially officially dated for August 20.

But the article actually says
"so we're thinking that it's going to slip into 2007, particularly because the company doesn't want to release too many franchise games during the Wii's 2006 launch."

Really.
