I was at a high of 234 pounds for my 5'10" body - obese. I started having as large of a breakfast as I wanted, a smaller lunch and just yougurt for dinner - basically skipping the last meal while still letting my body know it didn't need to kick into survival mode.
Over the last four months I have lost 35 pounds - actually just broke the 200 mark for the first time in 15 years yesterday!:) I stopped feeling hungry in the evenings after about a week.
Again, much like Bitcoinica, there will be no police involvement or even a report filed.
And again, like Bitcoinica, this will eventually be revealed as an inside job.
I don't understand what the entire bitcoin community keeps falling for these obvious scams.
I've often wondered if it would be possible to set up a legal suicide service. Put checks and balances in, as well as a cooling off period, and let people who choose to die, die with grace, We are going to have large amounts of death due to climate change, and some people who survive will suffer. Countries have had policies on who would live/die in disasters for years. We need to stop thinking of a life as sacred and see it as it is.
People are going to stop walking around their car and glancing at their vehicles, choosing instead to trust the technology.
It won't be long until a child's toy, then a beloved pet, then even a child gets crushed under a wheel, out of sight of the cameras.:(

I suffer from general anxiety disorder. It has affected my relationships, my health and my pocketbook. As of Tue I am being forced to declare bankruptcy, despite the fact WHEN I WORK I made $30-$40 an hour. I find it almost impossible to keep a job because of it. I really wish I had read this Slashdot story back in 1983.:)
How can you be raised to suppress millions of years of evolution? If you're male and you see a naked woman (when you haven't seen many) you are going to feel something, no matter how you are raised.
Protect us against certain political views?
Protect us against non-white websites?
Protect us against democratic (or other) viewpoints?
The internet should remain free. No one entity should decide what is best for all mankind.

Penalties account for potential damage, not just actual damages. If you try and smuggle a bomb onto a plane and get caught, you can't say no hurt, no foul.
Let's be realistic - he committed theft, probably in thousands of dollars. He then maliciously prepared systems to later blackmail their owners. The Internet is not just porn - there is a lot of money transferring hands, even if it is only advertising dollars. If you would choose rape over theft because you'd get less time, that make you warped - not the system.

I have been using the "Angry" or "Laughter" reaction when I disagree with something.
While that may be true, the rise in CO2 will also cause more severe weather, which will destroy more crops.

Smell is the sense that is tied to memory the strongest. I remember the smells of those records as much as I remember the sounds and the artwork. :)
