They have a DMCA form for copyright holders to use. If the MPAA doesn't wanna use it, tough shit. It's why the safe harbor clause exists. They have a way to get the files taken down, and are choosing not use it and instead are doing an end run around the law plain and simple.

It's plenty fair to punish the whole chain. If the corporate HQ allows a franchise to act like this without having their franchise license revoked, then you boycott the whole chain. It's like boycotting Activision. You don't just boycott Activision's own stuff, you boycott any devs who sign up with them for publishing too. You choose to do business with an entity of questionable ethics, you suffer the consequences. In this case that would be any franchisees as well as wholly owned locations.

I apologize. That's just the first I've seen someone say that and it struck me as just wrong. That's....actually worse that a UK paper's 'journalist' doesn't know what the book was about, to compare the two like that. Assange would be more aptly compared to Zorro, if Zorro was a douchebag.

Butthurt much? Let me try this one more time, I'll even go slow for you to understand. They. sent. the. details. to. the. parents. These. are. the. only. people. that. matter. Was that slow enough for you? This has nothing to do with *any* of us. You can claim you have an imaginary right to know, because of some half baked claim that it hurts confidence in the service but 40million+ people seem to disagree and go right on using it because they expect cheaters to be dealt with. The parents went screaming and crying to the media because they're douchebags who think the world owes their kid something because he has a problem and the media latch onto shit like this because it gets ratings and outrages people who can't sit for two seconds and think for themselves. If this were a normal Live member who claimed MS did this to him cause he's good at games, people would tell them to stfu and not cheat next time. tl;dr version: It's none of our business what evidence MS has and supplied the parents with.

"Grew" You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. Recovery != Growth. Growth is what comes *after* you've gotten back to where you were. Another thing. Everyone keeps citing growth this growth that, but the unemployment numbers haven't changed. Where's the growth? Where's the recovery? Here's a little fact about about unemployment numbers that people tend to ignore: They don't count people who have given up on finding a job completely, and they don't count people who have had their benefits run out but are still looking. There's also no serious mention in the media or by officials of under-employed people working minimum wage service industry jobs because they *need* a job *now* and can't find one elsewhere. These people sure aren't seeing that 'growth' or 'recovery' that every politician seems so happy to yammer on and on about.
