But all internet traffic is more than likely already monitered and filtered for keywords and word associations. All the FBI is really asking is basically to make it all very legal and a bit more convenient. Technically, unless you are doing something illegal, it wouldn't matter at this point if your software apps were reporting your activities.
They looked at the decay of radioactive atoms found in the water and calculated that it had been bottled up for a long time — at least 1.5 billion years
They found that the water is rich in dissolved gases like hydrogen, methane and different forms of noble gases such as helium, neon, argon and xenon.
They say there is as much hydrogen in the water as around hydrothermal vents in the deep ocean.
We are just that. A complex piece of machinery. And eventually we come to realize that as we get more and more advanced and that our creation are nothing more than replicas of us and all the time, the easiest way to make those machines was just to keep procreating!:)
You haven't seen the drivers on the Garden State Parkway. Speed Limit varies from 55 to 65 mph where there is no construction happening and people typically average 75 mph, many easily go 80 mph. In the short term, these drones will catch a lot of offenders. I'm pretty sure of that.
For the most part, being a programmer is not a bad job.
Above average pay and many perks usually come with the trade. Work from home for some, other perks for others.
So, if a programmer doesn't keep up with the trends, that's "mea culpa".
We can't be in this business and not try and stay informed. It's just does NOT compute.
This is a business where we must keep learning. So, anybody who doesn't want to upgrade their skills, isn't someone worth hiring in the first place. It should truly be one of the many requirements when hiring a programmer.
And if they don't want to upgrade their skills, then hire someone new.
What took them so long for this database anyways? sheesh. It's not so much a serious crime as it is a crime. Smartphones nowadays can be used to manage your life with all the information you can set into it. Of course, for some, it's a great delivery system for Angry Birds and Temple Run... nevertheless, there should have been a DB a long time ago.
Education has come a long way from the traditional class room experience.
The thing about classroom experience is that the teacher has the hard job of not only having to present material, but keep the students engaged with it.
Want to be an astronaut? well, you need your ABCs, 1,2,3s.. and so on and so forth.
All this new online stuff is great!
But without motivation, very few people on this planet, just learn for the sake of learning..
And I think that it really boils down to this.
Motivation.
How do you instill motivation in kids so that they can be sold on the idea that the more they learn today, the better the choices they can make in their future for a better life.
Androids.. once a real AI is ready to take the challenge, they will be able to use this technology to give it touch and feel senses. This will get interesting.. If we don't have true to life walking androids by 2050, even if only for the elite, I will be very surprised.
I don't see why DRM isn't supported with HTML5, after all, the content creators should have a right to protect their material and consumers can always refuse to purchase a DRM protected product.
Having DRM with HTML5 should be an option.
I fail to see the 'big' picture they are talking about, because in the end, as long as we have a 'for-profit' economy, people have a right to make a living. If someone choose to make a product and have DRM to protect it, when it is out there for consumers, they have a choice to buy it or leave it.
Use a OUIJA board, or, do some decent project management planning and know thy tasks, thy players and thy resources at your disposal.
For the most part, double your estimates and then adjust where it gets too costly and you know your players can perform fast than expected.
A braille solution only caters to blind people, a solution where you have a voice reader is usable to all. I'm not saying people afflicted with blindness don't deserve any consideration, I'm saying from a business perspective that smartphones took the road of PCs and included software for accessibility which reads your choices and actions. From a business standpoint, it makes sense. A braille smartphone only caters to the blind, and thus it is indeed a very small niche. Comparing gaming consoles to braille devices is like comparing Ham to a Hamburger. Makes very little sense.
I would never allow my critical PC to be online if it was running mission critical business software.
Companies which make these specialized software apps are no dummy, if for example they have a version of their software in XP, then, they will make their next version with better features on Win 7.
But in the end, it comes down to this:
Does my current software handle all my needs?
Are the upgrade mission critical?
If I invest in the upgrade, will it also cause some retraining? or software conversion?
What type of return on investment can I expect from the cost of the upgrade?
Faster productivity?
Increase ability to generate revenues?
Truly, your 'business' PC should be sandbox from all internet activities in a private network.
1) There is no money in this for Apple, Samsung, Nokia and others, this is a niche phone for a minority of people.
2) Accessible phones in the usual UI way with readers have been around for a while as well as computers.
Problem with web content is that some authors don't make it accessible to other types of user agents (beside the usual keyboard/mouse combo) by adhering to the WWW Web Accessibility Guidelines, which is a shame for these guidelines aren't all that hard to implement and it's just a little bit more planning ahead, which in the end, makes it easier to deal with your site's content in the long run.
What is nice about this new smartphone is that blind people can now deal with a smartphone with their own braille reading skills and thus can operate the device in silence, instead of being read the display like other smartphones with content readers.
You are very narrow minded. And I know from experience with the people I interact with that many have bought a tablet instead of a desktop, because it suffices their needs and it's mobile, they aren't stuck to a desk. But we can agree to disagree, I've wasted enough time on this.
Wow.. people want to play games, do email, chat, lookup info, play music, videos and see pictures.. Most often, that's pretty much all the mainstream user does. and DUH.. the mobile devices provide them with those exact capabilities.
For those who must choose between a desktop and mobile.. they will go mobile. THAT would be the POINT..:)
Even the ants want to travel the electronic highway.. :)

I would send it to work in my place, except, he would more than likely do the same, and so on, and so forth.. :)
No need for a professional anymore.

Samsung just bought Liquavista in 2012.. interesting.. How will that work? I mean Samsung is more than likely going to use this technology.

Man responsible for the wide distribution of 3D printed gun specs killed by man who printed one.
Old Coke came back.. Same goes for Windows! :)
On my orders: Engage Tractor Beam NOW! :)

Won't work on DOS 6.2.2 either.. WTF?? Doesn't anything last?
