I work with Mac Pros daily and I just can't enjoy the OS, no matter how much I try. G5's feel horribly underpowered, and Mac Pros don't feel great either. My customized home PC is far more powerful and it's built around dead Socket 939 tech, albeit maxed out. The hardware looks decent, and performs well for certain aspects, but as a general use I feel much more productive on a Windows of Linux system. Don't even get me started on the mouse. I have to have multiple buttons, and touch sensitive plastic doesn't cut it. Don't get me wrong though, I do like Macs somewhat. I'm far more familiar with them than the majority. I just prefer a powerful Windows system, or an average Linux system.

My Deck keyboard can be washed. I think they say not to use soap, I don't remember. Then they definitely say air dry. Deck FTW. They also let you mod them. I'm sure this keyboard will outlast the USB interface it uses, and probably computers as we know it.

This species is only "Conservation Dependant" which means on a scale of 1-8, one being extinct and eight being least concern, this species is a six.

I, honestly, am no more concerned about a 150 year old whale being killed than a 25 year old whale. And I am far less concerned by groups like this killing whales than I am about some other countries that refuse to follow the anti-whaling agreement put in place so many years ago. Why does Japan, for instance, need to kill so many whales every year for "research"?

  5. We don't pay to breath. on First Nations Want Cellphone Revenue · · Score: 1

We pay for gas, electricity, water, and other utilities to use them. We pay for phone, cable, internet, and other telecommunications to use them. We do not pay to use the air around us. How can anyone charge air usage for radio waves if they don't charge air usage for consumption? What about plants? If I had a forest on my private property, would my monthly air bill be less than that of one with not a single plant? Also, what if I could swim down the Mississippi River interstate, would I have to pay a fee to use that water to pass through a state? I'm not going to give my opinion on the legality of this, thats for a judge to decide. But I will argue that if they can charge for usage of air in this manner, then what else could be charged? And do they charge aircraft to fly through their airspace? If not then I believe that should negate the whole case.
