I agree. I was skeptical at first -- Starbuck being a girl and all. But now I really enjoy the show, the premise is the same, and many character names are the same, but that's all. The cylons are far more devious and crafty than in the original series. The plot is interesting and there are many interesting subplots. This is not your father's Battlestar Galactica.
And I think the Starbuck character is attractive, in a tomboyish sort of way.
I don't think the keyboard adapter has been around long though.
I play Halo for the PC online, and I do quite well. On the X-Box however, I'm not used to the controller, and my son can kill me before I figure out what button to push.
I think the adapter is a great idea. Too bad it doesn't have the sensitivity of a keyboard and mouse hooked up to a PC.
It really doesn't matter how many laws you pass, they will not eliminate spam. You cannot stop spammers you cannot find. You cannot bring legal action against those you cannot identify.
Unless you are able to track spam back to it's origin, you will never eliminate it. Telephone calls can be tracked to their originator, and so passing laws against, or restricting, telemarketing work, as you can then bring legal action against those who break the laws.
Pass all the laws you want, spam will continue unless (until) there is a track-back mechanism in place.
Aside: I recall that a town in Michigan passed a law declaring pi to be equal to 3.14 --- wonder if it worked.
Okay, interesting... if you search for "rot-13 decoder" with the quotes, my page does end up being the first page -- just without the quotes it doesn't show up in the first 600 results...
I don't tweak my web pages in any way. But if you google search for "How to make ribs", my page is the top page, or search for "rot-13 decoder" and again, my page is the top page -- other pages that I have work that way too, but on MSN Search, you can't find my pages unless you specify the site URL as part of the search, and if you know the site URL, it isn't really necessary to search, is it.
I've liked Enterprise from the beginning. It doesn't always interlace well with the other Star Trek series, but that isn't really important to me. I certainly like it better than Stargate.
I guess you might like Stargate better, if you're like twelve years old...
I use Google Desktop Search, and I tried this and I'm surprised that Google handles it that way. I have a passworded Word document that I accessed earlier today. I searched for a keyword that is in that file and Google Desktop Search found it, and I was able to view the cached file.... I wasn't able to view the "hidden text" in the document (I keep it hidden so it won't accidentally be printed).
I haven't ever tried the MSN Toolbar Suite, which has the same purpose as the Google Desktop Search, so I don't know if it has this little feature.
Well... yes. They do that now. Remember the nice little video of Marion Barry and the hooker smoking crack? That was in a hotel room, but it's the same principle. And then the voters of Washington D.C. re-elected the upstanding Democrat.
Actually, I don't think that Bill Clinton did that bad a job as president...
It's considered news because it is something people are interested in hearing about. News outlets are interested in stuff that will get people to consume their content.
No... even when you are doing the design and code yourself, when you finally get to coding, you find that some things in the design cannot be done in the way the design specifies -- so you code it up and if you get a chance go back and change the design specifications later.
Luckily, I should say. You US people would do well to remember that US is not and should not be all powerful. The rest of the world should not bend to the will of the US.
It is a two way street. If two countries wish to do business with each other, then the parties need to follow each other's laws with respect to that business. You non U.S. people would do well to remember that.
Yes... since BP, British Petroleum, bought Amoco, American Oil Company, those BP stations are popping up all over.
So a 5 cent song will break before a 99 cent song?

Remember the kid with the robo-dog?

I would wager that these students know even less about the second ammendment.
I think we need to have a naked oil wrestling match between T'Pol and 7-of-9 to determine this...

The 1984 commercial originally aired during the Super Bowl, and you can find it: http://mcraigweaver.com/SuperBowlCommercials/

When I was a kid, I sold some of my brother's toys. Strangely enough, I didn't manufacture them.

We could sell Dr. Kervorkian type services to them... what a money maker!
Do you know where I can send my résumé?

Strangely enough, that type of announcement usually makes stock price go up.

Or for that matter, why does the CIA, can't they hire hackers?
