The question posed in the article: http://kotaku.com/5489137/wii-gun-involved-in-3+year+old-shooting-is-amazingly-lifelike

Well because I am a sane individual I would say the "blame" if there must be some lies with the person that left a loaded, cocked gun with the safety off, lying about where a toddler could reach it..

I can hardly blame a toy manufacturer for making a replica.

"The fact that there are things like this Wii toy that look like guns, make it all the more important for the adults to keep the guns away from the children," said Paul Helmke, president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. "Keep it locked up, keep it secure, or don't have it at all."

Why does that make it more important? I fail to see how leaving a loaded weapon in reach of a child can be less important in any way.

Actually I think the 1st step should be to issue a DMCA takedown notice to the insurgents.
The 2nd step should be to threaten them with legal action and a steep fine.
3rd step is clearly any insurgents captured with said recordings are clearly committing acts of piracy (USAF clearly owns the copyright to the streams) and as such after they have finished a stint at the latest terrorist holding facility should be transfered to a US Court and promptly sued for copyright infringement.

Just for the record I upgraded one machine from 9.04 and did a fresh install on another, both work fine.

One thing to watch with the server versions is that if you use a non LTS release you may have problems in the future doing upgrades. We had a 7.04 system running and decided to bring it up to date to 9.04 there was no upgrade path, we had to manually upgrade off the CD to each interm version as the older repositories had be moved, in the end we stopped on 8.04 as it was an LTS so when 9.10 comes out we should be able to jump straight to that.

This upgrade path "bug" may not affect more recent releases but still you need to be careful with the server versions you run.

I know someone will reply and mention it so "Yes I am away that 7.04 was no longer getting updates and I have no right to complain that an unsupported release couldn't be upgraded to the most recent version".
