Nontrivial software project usually require some kind of a team effort. And I do not mean 'Give me a T' type of a team but a group of people that are willing to cooperate. I do not understand why you look for large quantity of them unless you have lots of independent projects. Anyway as other mentioned most likely you will not find excellent people through places like Monster. You have to try to poach them from others. I do not know if that has been mentioned but conferences are good place to discreetly look for people. You do not have to even reveal your intentions.

This opinion was moderated twice, once as flamebait and second time as troll rendering it invisible to most readers. If this is not censorship I do not know what is and I do not care what is written about this in the FAQ. The system lets anonymous moderators affect what others read. I wonder who monitors them and if their scores are scored? Get rid of it.
I would like to judge if something is funny, troll or stupid for myself and I do not care for other people opinions. I just ask for an option not to see them, that's it.
The scoring system in/. is not working. It does not do what it was supposed to do, meaning promote interesting opinions. The system as is can easily be highjack and this is what happened in this case. The two posting is moderated funny (5) the second troll (1) where the first is not really funny the other is not a troll. Of course what is funny and what is a troll is a matter of opinion and I agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion.
What I propose is a user selectable option to disable displaying of the scores. And I mean completely, no points and no categories. This way one could read the discussion without being influenced by others. In other words: facts not commentaries.
If you can fix bugs in an application like WEB browser in one day means that Apple has brilliant programmers. Kudos to them. Or it could mean that QA fails to find trivial bugs.
Apart of winning back alienated gamers, PS3 needs a better controller as well, at least with the PS2 features. Unfortunately, it might be too late for that.
One of the reasons Microsoft and Sony tries to prevent piracy is that they try to recover losses from game system sells by charging more for the games. Maybe one can soften their stand by petitioning them to sell their consoles with a nice profit. That business model works for Nintendo. Third party game developers don't like it that much but who cares. Homebrew would replace their games in no time.
Apple has just committed a suicide. Everybody will have a chance to install Safari on their PCs and realize that it is not any better than everything else out there thus destroying the hype. That applies to those thinking about switching to MacOS as well.
