Why bother hiring a full time lecturer when you can sub in a few videos and computerized grading systems and just have the teacher there for a few hours a week?
The teachers unions actively refuse any efficiencies and block any technological adoptions that could possibly pave the way. As a student I would ask the best professors to give their course material to adjuncts or record their lectures on video. You should have seen the looks I got.
Have you seen the icon color scheme on Apple devices? When they released the rainbow icon colors the next day I came in to work and traded my iPhone for a Samsung.
Smart phones in general are suffering from feature-creep.....trying to do way too much. Android has the same shitty kinds of bugs. Clean it up guys...get back to simple. I loved Windows Phone because the user experience was so simple and fluid. I use the phone while multitasking a lot....each extra swipe or tap is a major annoyance.....and frankly, not smart.
By the time I read the release notes I could have downloaded and installed the new version two times. Very rarely does anyone need release notes. Just install and pray.
I used to place cute ASCII Art animals in random scripts as a reward for proper execution. Nothing like an ASCII squirrel appearing to brighten your day.
Unless they are white males under the age of 44. They are not protected by federal laws that define hostile work enviornments.....if fact it is our duty to brave the harassment of others with a thick skin.
What do they want? Free speech or anonymity? Free speech can exist in either case but shit falls out when people know who you are after saying something in public. Perhaps we are talking about amendment 1.5...the one that guarantees us anonymity?
