I would be more interested in the process of how Toyota develops/maintains code. Do they rewrite code for every car? When they reuse code, how do they retest assertions? How do they do code verification? What is their culture when coding problems interfere w/deadlines ? Is there a whole crap load of unused code in there because they are scared shitless to remove it ?
"The mission of AIME (pronounced “aim”) is to promote fair and appropriate use of the media and equipment delivering information in a rapidly changing world."
"Risk Aversion" is meaningless, we all want to minimize risk. What you really want is accurate "Risk Assessment" so that a "good" astronaut can say "sorry, that's too risky for me"
And........ Only report the successful missions, since the American public, in general, is incapable of wrapping their collective heads around the concept of "Risk Assessment".
Astrology works OK, but I have found that music is the best way to snag a babe. Go grab yourself a Spanish guitar and you can't go wrong.

I wonder how much time & money they invested in finding a google bug than their own software?
My guess is more than the entire budget allowed for IE6.
Secret to those who find them and don't post their results. Secret to those who have access to source control and leave....
How many secret unfixed vulnerabilities in IE?
I am sure someone would come up with it then.

So easy...
In addition, if you are using an irrational number as the "base" (mind opened yet?), then the pattern
might actually repeat and or be finite.
Uh, sorry to dump on you but if you paid attention to "tongue in cheek" 101, you might have a clue.
Perhaps using the wrong base for digit representation.
What if you used base "e" ? :)
