I do not have to mess around with text files in which I have to edit, then restart the server.
Ever heard of USR1? I suggest you look it up. Until you fully comprehend what you are trying to compare, it's not your place to criticize. Do you think Slashdot is all static? You would be a fool if you did, but you already proved you're a fool.
Mod this up! Seriously, the sooner Mac OSX server gets ported to the PC the better. You get all the function of FreeBSD as well as Apple's funky interface.
Anti-MS could be one way to describe them, but i think pro-linux would be more accurate because they dont give as much time to other OS/s like BSD, Solaris, AIX, and other smaller ones.
The video quality is too low to be really usable. I find the VP4 codec much more usable. Besides, most mobiles these days still dont have a color display. Perhaps more compression could be achieved by converting the video to grayscale.
He was silly enough to actually go to the U.S.A.; even then, he should not have been prosecuted because U.S.A. law is not enforcable outside of the U.S.A.. Furthermore, anybody outside of the U.S.A. has no obligation to obey U.S.A. laws.
This is a very bad attitute. By your way of thinking, its perfectly OK for a few companies who operate the major links to have a monopoly on the internet. The internet is supposed to be free for anyone to use, but the reality is its run by a few large companies who charge through the nose. 'He who controls information, controls the world' - Will Stiles (Tom Clancy's Netforce). With the internet playing such a large part in information transfer, these companies could end up taking control of governments.
If i run a counterstrike server for my friends to play on i am not a business.
If i run a web server to host my own non-profit site i am not a business.
If i use my connection to make money ie charing people for use of the counterstrike server, or advertising my business on my website, *then* i would be a business customer.
They can't afford to have an ip address for each web server so they use the practice called 'virtualhosting' whereby they are able to host multiple web sites on a single ip address.
You missed the best of them all, WinMX! Lets you connect to the WPNP network as well as any OpenNap server. Search the net for the TrippyMX server list =)
Did you actually read the rest of my post? I think you'll find I made a valid point. I was replying in the tone that the author of the parent post used.

Hey don't get me wrong, I'm Australian... I don't particularly like either one of them (:
FIRST is what most likely inspired BattleBots
Actually Battlebots is a rip off of the British Robot Wars.
I feel no sympathy for those in Oz
Well that's probably because you're a self-centred yankee asshole.
Try k-melon. It uses Gecko, but doesn't have the bloat of Mozilla. And it's *fast* :) All in all a good bet.

What about if youre not using it for business, just for networking with your friends? Not all VPNs are soley for business use.
You Americans had better keep it in your own country. American law is not enforcable outside America.
It ain't fair.
Don't miss out universal, now the official GNU ircd :)
