    Most commodities are not structured so that the more you buy the more you pay per unit. In fact it really is only Electricity that dose this. It dose this because it is not about price. It IS about controlling your consumption. Raising the price when you buy more is an encouragement to use less. This is green bullshit. It is easy to see and you do not have to be a "nutbag" to see it.

    No. But a revolution because elected officials do not represent the citizens, because the courts and politicians support the police being able to secret violate your rights, because unions and big business get to make law, because we are 13 TRILLION dollars in debt and all they want to do is spend more money on government / union programs, because everytime you bitch about their spending they threaten to cut infrastructure and police and firemen not union contracts and new cars for the politicians.

    I run IT for a cab company. 250 Cabs. 25 Workstations, 3 Servers and so on. I use TWC Business class for internet with a single T1 and a DSL line. DSL is only for the cameras. I get cheap high speed internet for everyone through the Cable on the rare occasion it has a hiccup we have a T1 line for back up. Internet slows but we keep going.

    You don't want anything distracting people when they're trying to evacuate, whether it's keeping them from hearing instructions or putting something into their hands that they'll worry about when they shouldn't

    As I mentioned before I really do want people who put their laptop above their safety (even for a moment) to reap their rewards.
