This was the problem with Napster, you take down the central server and the whole network stops working. If there was a central P2P server handing out MD5's the same thing could happen. Shut it down and no more P2P. Plus you will get different MD5 codes for the same file. If 10 people rip the same song all over the world and share it, they will all have different Md5 codes so which one is good ?
But if the majority of people make a choice that sort of makes it correct. If 90% of people want gnome and only 10% want KDE, then gnome is the correct choice, that's how democracy works, even if you would choose KDE
If yo read the article the author inticates that there are already programs that return 1 and 0. The programs are 'true' and 'false'. So he just decided to return a different number, probably influenced by Douglas Adams (RIP)
I managed to pick up a copy of the DVD a few months back at cdplus. Do a search for wallace at www.cdplus.com and it shows the 2 DVD's they have. Bargain at under $25 CDN.
Seeing as the site seems a little slow I have been doing manual searches for the latest ISO's on mirror sites but they all seem to be carrying rc3 as the latest verison. Am I just looking in the wrong place? does anybody know where they should be ? I can find the rpm directories but need the ISO's;)
Record music/video onto analog media. (ok , games could be a problem here) Oh I dont know my ZX Specturm used to load games from cassette tape as did the Commodore 64. Although I am not sure how many tapes would be needed for something like Neverwinter Nights;)

Is it a sign that I play too many games when I read the title as a security breach in Unreal Tournament ???

why wouldn'e anybody vote for them?
I'd vote for the other guy for $9 million
No he would not because if he had gotten away with it nobody would have known
...probaly due to some incredibly large security holes
Your right I was talking about the collection of the first 3 films - my bad

If the old method took 'forever' and the new method takes less time than that. Just how long is that? Isn't it almost like saying infinity-1 :)
