Hopefully they will do like in Australia and have the till show if it rounded up or down. Mind you, knowing the government and human greed, I highly doubt it.
and have you seen how much of that is chemicals? well over 90% of it. good bread should consist of four basic ingredients: flour, yeast (fresh yeast is best), salt and water.
I would rather bake on a regular basis then ingest all the crap they put into store bought bread. besides, the bread I bake at home gets eaten fast enough to not get a chance to go stale:P
This is where mod points would of come in handy. I agree completely. I am in my 40s and there is no way in Hel I would let a car drive me around. One of the reasons I prefer driving a manual over an automatic (dont' get me started on that flappy paddle bullshit either:P ).
The swastika symbol pre-dates all known religion. There have been rock/cave carvings found of it. it is found in Hinduism and Bhudism as well as all across Asia and Western Europe and the Scandinavian countries (not sure about Eastern Europe).
They did modify an existing heavy lift helicopter. Though as you can see form my earlier post the K-MAX is not that standard looking to say a Jetranger or other helicopter that uses a standard main/tail rotor combination. The K-max is small compared to the usual medium or heavy lift helicopters but it can lift a crap tonne due to it's rotor configuration which is why it is used a lot in the logging, mining and oil industries
Depends on the helicopter. I do believe an A-Star landed on the top of Mount Everest though from what i remember reading it was very tough to do. The less air pressure the less lift, and as in Afghanistan the hotter the air the less air mass available to generate lift. Hell on a hot day in Vancouver, with full manifold pressure in a Bell 47 (think the helicopters you see in M*A*S*H) I was hovering 3 inches off the ground. I have taken said helicopter (built in 1956 btw) To 6500 feet ASL without any problems. Larger helicopter can, and do fly higher. There are just special procedures and considerations when flying over 10000 feet ASL and higher.
It is a very narrow single seat helicopter. It can carry heavy loads due to it using two main rotors as opposed to the usual main rotor/tail rotor combination. The ones in the story just happened to be modified to run unmanned.
not sure how it works in the US but here in Canada pilots have to take a medical once a year, twice a year if over the age of 40. They also add more tests, such as hearing tests and ECGs on a more regular basis as you get older.
I very much agree that the article is short on any good explanation. My only guess is that it plays much like the Brain Age series where the DS is held vertically. If this is the case then the player's left hand would be covering one of the screens making it hard to play the game as you cannot see much of the information passing by on that screen. i am sure that you can adjust your hand position but that would stifle your wrist flexibility causing slower response times (being a lefty for writing i can attest to that one). Thankfully the Brain Age series had a 'lefty' option where all it did was rotate the information in the windows 180 degrees. simple enough fix.
hopefully the author will give a better explanation as to why. until then all we can do is speculate.
i used to own a 1988 full sized Bronco. it had that switch AND a clutch. not sure if i ever inadvertantly hit the switch but i do remember pressing against it on occasion.
gods...haven't played DAoC in ages but i agree that their battlegrounds where great (siege engines ftw!) but as for WoW they took thier battlegrounds straight from Team Fortress during the old quake days. Warsong Gulch is 2fort5 without the underground river passage and AB is Zones to a T. not sure where AV and Eye of the storm came from but those may be from DAoC. but like i sais. i have not played Dark Age for eons.
not even a mention of one of the original FPS mods. I am talking about Team Fortress for Quake. I think, (and people can/will correct me if I am wrong), that it was one of if not the first mod out there.
it is a shame to not have mentioned the mod that started it all.
frankly i would pay the 0.99 per song and for about 10 dollars create an album in which i like EVERY song as opposed to the 15+ bucks i would be paying at the record store for an album with maybe 1 or two tunes that i enjoy
and besides this is supporitng the artist directly which is a good ting
I was thinking, along with the protests shouldn't we also be writing to the members of the judiciary committee to ensure that the US AG DOES NOT become the next head of the FBI?
Being Canadian I am not 100% sure of how this works.
just a wonderence
Actually the UBC engineering students did just that a few years ago. They put a yellow beetle atop one of the concrete spans of the Alex Frasier bridge in Surrey (its a part of Greater Vancouver).

Remember Ernie Ball?
This is the same Vic Toews that said that if you are against this legislation you are for child porn.

+1 Casablanca reference.

sorry, but if it wasn't for the Canucks pushing further in hours than the yanks did in weeks it would of been the aformentioned german thing.

AFAIR the metric system was invented by the Dutch and braught into France by Napoleon.
