Nobody makes 2-track mono anymore, everything is quarter track. My tapes were recorded on 2-track mono heads in the 1950's, before quarter track was invented.
Crutchfield doesn't carry reel-to-reel tape recorders as far as I can tell. A website search for reel-to-reel, and the synonymous "open reel," returned nothing. Ebay remains the best source for refurbished decks. Thanks.
Re your sig: And if one DID drag them under the bridge a cry would immediately go up: "There goes the neighborhood!" (Pace, mods. I kid because I love.)
The fact that it was first presented at a prestigious conference might even enhance a reviewer's interest your paper.
"Hmm, he presented there? Let's see what he had to say..."
It's even harsher than that. Should they do something illegal in the next 20 years, the prohibition period jumps from 20 years to 30! Rough justice, I say.
"One commentator suggests the RIAA should at this juncture just say, 'Thanks Jammie, we've had all we can get out of you and caused you enough grief -- pay us $1 and we'll forget about it.'"
Sure, that would be reasonable if this were only about Jammie. Let us not forget these beasts are also in the business of wrecking their victims' lives so as to make an example for others.
Very true. One need only think reel-to-reel audio tapes. Try finding a deck to play them other than refurbished units on Ebay. I'm currently converting my tapes to lossless audiofiles and storing them on an external HDD. Then back ups of that.
This doesn't even touch those high flying planes criss-crossing the morning skies with chemtrails which dissipate over several hours and eventually fall to earth.
God only knows what they are doing to the weather, not to mention you and me.
Anyone who has seen the post nomination interviews and is honest knows this guy doesn't have the brains to pass a blood test much less successfully run for office. The whole thing stinks to high heaven. The one bright spot: the Democrat who lost to him is calling for an investigation.
Taste is in the buds of the beholder. But there's a far greater concern than flavor when nanofoods are ingested. They may taste better going down but WHAT the hell are they doing to us on the cellular level?? Don't presume the answer because NO ONE knows.
Grain (not corn!)-fed, grass grazing cows, no antibiotics, no hormones and VOILE! you've got your REAL US Prime steak back.
Just try to find cows raised like that though. It is available from organic farms but most of us are not lucky enough to live near one.
Some farms will ship the meat frozen but the whole process is frightfully expensive. But like you, I remember that fabulous taste.
If I have copies of pictures someone else took of a DUI-caused car accident including the victims, should I be prosecuted for possessing pictures of a crime?
And yet 100% is what they claim - or they will cover your losses up to a million dollars. If there weren't enormous escape hatches in their customer contract they'd be out of business by now.
Why oh why do people use their real names on this Net we call Inter? It just isn't worth the potential aggravation.
Oh sure, I'm using mine, but this is/. for crying out loud. Nobody comes here.
Come July you won't even need a flashbulb -- seriously. According to technology writer David Pogue in today's NY Times, Sony will be releasing a breakthrough pocket camera called the NEX-5 Alpha: SLR quality pictures and no flash required in low light situations. http://tinyurl.com/2eyn5tu
Hey! You! get off of my sig!

We, the Peeps, are not the Government. We are the governed.

Thank you ffreeloader and AC. You expressed it very well, much better than I could hope to.

PDS knows no bounds.
The entire nation will be in hock soon and up for grabs anyway. Why should Pennsylvania Avenue be any different?

Appoint Slick Willie the Oil Slick czar.
Problem solved.

That's sick! How old is that whale?

Insufficient data. If the dog ate the penis but left the balls alone we still have a shot. Keep hope alive, America!

But when the second half of the population observes the first half understanding and not understanding, they understand or don't too.
