I had a teacher like that too. But since I had an HP and most people didn't, when she came around, I just went to my 'Library' and showed her that there was nothing there. And of course she didn't know the difference between 'Library' and 'Mem[ory]'.

(If you're not familiar with the HP, all your games are usually under the 'Mem[ory]' option, and on the 48G which I had, the Library was always blank because it couldn't take memory cards).

I think Microsoft is definatly pricing themselves out of the competition and hopefully the XBox will die a miserable death because of it. Hmmm, but maybe not after all, their operating systems are way overpriced, but they seem to be doing well in that market. I suppose it just depends on the marketing.

But they got raided because their employees were illegal immigrants, which explained why the food was so good :). Fortunately they have reopened and I'm assuming they're legal now, but they still have really good food, so I gotta wonder...

You aren't the only one hoping buddy. If they could create a game like that, it would be the first fps I've bought since Doom2. I've played Quake2 and it was fun, but not enough for me to actually go out and buy it. Fun to play every now and then at a friends house, but not enough to actually buy.

The fear factor of Doom is what made me love it, and the quake series just hasn't had that. Doom is the only game that can make me jump 5 feet out of my chair and cause me physically look around.

I think you must be thinking of doom. That game had some enemies that would make me afraid to play with the lights off. Even after I stopped playing I could still hear the snarlling crackle of an imp right behind me. I haven't had the same reaction to any other fps I've ever played, doom was just a classic. I sure hope doom3 returns to the origional doom style in terms of gameplay and setting, and isn't too quakeish.

Not to mention the fact that I can check my yahoo mail from home with a pop3 client or have all mail forwarded to another address and thus use my yahoo address as a permanant address. I can't do any of these from hotmail because once the mail gets into hotmail the only way to get it out is to manually forward out each message, what a pain. But my hotmail account does serve a purpose: the spam purpose. It's the only account I give out online that could potentially be picked up by spam bots.
