Baggy Pants are NOT illegal
Doesn't matter if you could fit a cooler for Sears in your pants, you still have the right to wear them, and put anything you own, borrowed, etc.. in them. They could be used to steal, but stealing itself is illegal, the pants have legitimate legal uses. It would be stupid to outlaw the pants just because someone decided that their primary purpose was to aid shoplifters.
People Speed
Cars that can exceed 75mph are NOT illegal. Speeding is illegal, it is up to the owner of the car to decide how to use it.
People do all sorts of horrible and nasty things
And they do them with everyday items that we would be hard pressed to do without. Go to prison, they have pretty much everything taken from them (they should have a lot more taken), but they still manage to create weapons and kill each other. So what next? Keep outlawing everything that has or can be used for an illegal purpose? Keep that up, and we'll be the ones with nothing. Punish the crime, leave the freedom to choose how to use legitimate tools with the people.
T would be dependant upon the conductor, and how freely it gives up its electrons q is static m is static
So would not the amount of current flow would be determined by a factor of resistance (directly related to 'T') and the EMF, 'E'. This makes sense. However I don't believe that the actual velocity of the electron changes. I'm fairly certain that my electronics course manual states that. Maybe I'm wrong....I'll look it up.

You obviously DON'T have a 2 year old son that likes to "HACK" his way into the DVD cabinet....
Further, you purchased a movie. The DVD/VCR tape is simply the medium upon which the movie is stored. A vehicle is a very poor analogy.
I would personally LOVE to be able to copy my DVD's and keep ONLY the copies accessible. The original Master copies would only come out when needed to re-copy a destroyed backup/use copy.
The point is not whether YOU have a need/want to copy your DVD's... The point is that we the people (in the U.S. at least), are losing our established rights to corporate greed steering a corrupt government, unchallenged by an apathetic populace.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Where does this contain regulation to REMOVE all signs of religion from public schools? It does not. Rather it protects the right of every citizen to freely exercise their religion, whatever it may or may not be without any other entity forcing their practices and/or beliefs upon them. Additionally, I have the freedom of speech, whether I am talking to my friend Bob, or to God himself, it is my right. This right does not end when I enter a school or other public building. Forceably REMOVING any person's practice of religion is contrary to the 1st Amendment. If you don't believe, that's fine. YOU don't have to pray or do whatever else is in question.... You don't have to say "Under God" in the Pledge of allegience. That's your right, and personal choice. But it's also MY right, and personal choice TO DO these things. It is my responsibility to respect your choice, and not force you to do things "my" way. Conversely, it is your responsibility to respect my choice and not try to force me to do things "your" way.
I have business DSL on my residential phone line. 640K both ways. Incidentally, one of my co-workers is running with cable...they block port 80, so I had him direct his www.domainname.com to my address. I configured a virtual server (Apache) to answer those requests, bouncing them back to domainname.com:2002. Works great, for $1/month he gets his webserver running great (well, except that he's running IIS -- which, of course, has already been wormed a couple times!) on a nonstandard port so his provider is left clueless and happy.
How the HELL did this get modded to 5 Insightful. Homeboy was selling copied games. Even if he wanted to make a statement of civil disobedience, he COULD NOT DO IT unless he was an otherwise upstanding person of moral values, or at least appeared to be so in public opinion. This person was obviously just a stupid criminal, who happened to be breaking one unjust law along with other good ones.
Or some of us are pro-active. During that "sit-around" time, were planning enhancements to the infrastructure, reviewing/implementing consolidation plans, testing new applications to improve our workflow, learning new skillsets, etc......A matter of attitude I suppose.

The process that happens inside a refrigeration system is based on physics. It does not matter which gas. In fact, water, alchohol, and even good old CO2 all can be used as refrigerents and do just a good a job cooling food as Freon did.
Yes, it is based on physics, and had you stayed awake in said class, you might have clued in to the fact that different substances have different properties, and are NOT all equal. If they were, we'd be using inert gasses. *Simplified*: R-12 is compressed into its liquid state so that it will boil when passed through the evaporator, dropping in temperature to it's boiling point of (negative whatever degrees). It is then compressed back into liquid form (smaller tube), and it does it again.
Water (or any other fluid that I'm aware of) does not compress. That is the principal/law that hydraulic systems are based on. Fluids don't compress, gasses do. Ever seen a fuelie go up in an explosion and wonder what happened? Too much fuel in the cylinder (vs air), the compression was too much for the heads, and boom!
That said, I should note that many new refrigerents can be quite flammable under certain conditions. Plus lets not forget what CFC based refrigents do to the ozone layer. A problem much worse for everyone then the ammonia.
I'm still trying to figure out why this is so widely accepted. If anyone has a good answer, I'd be interested (seriously). How does a gas as heavy as chlorine rise above lighter gasses to the ozone layer? Chlorine is, after all, the catalyst in R-12 which is supposedly destroying the ozone layer, while at the same time we're complaining of high ozone content in the lower atmosphere due to vehicle emissions. Is the heavy gas Chlorine gas really making a miraculous trip into the upper atmosphere to destroy O3 while leaving the Ozone down here intact for us to breath? Or did DuPont buy another government backed scare to make more dough?
Kind of fitting the M$ would use a name already fraught with treachery and lies.
