    The purpose of LHC is not to find antimatter (at least not primarily). It's purpose is to find the higgs boson and you don't need LHC to make antimatter

    As we all know there will be some changes when it becomes legal to fileshare non commercially (why yes! I AM an optimistic supporter of the pirate party=)) but here is an idea that might work (the idea obviously needs refining)

    A production company would produce a pilot like usual but instead of marketing it to whoever it is they are marketing towards now they market it directly to the viewers.
    A budget will be released and people can promise (with the force of contract law) to pay an amount of their choosing.
    Companies could also sponsor for the return of some product placement
    If they get enough money within some agreed upon time limit they will make the series and otherwise the peoples promises will be rescinded(or their money returned or however it would work in practice)

    I think this could work... at least for some. Production companies may have to make do with smaller budgets depending on how willing/unwilling people are to part with their money and essentially pay for everybody who didn't pay to also watch.

    There really wasn't much information in my search history that can't be found in other ways:

    • Apparently i search much for function documentation for different programming languages : I study computer science
    • I'm politically interested in filesharing (search for arguments for and against stuff and visited piratpartiet.se ) : I'm publicly a member of the pirate party
    • I watch a nonzero amount of porn : I'm a man

    I've only looked through a few months of my search history and it was pretty interesting to see what i searched for back then

    It seems they don't have a tree style tabs equivalent extension:( I would try chrome if there were but without tree style tabs there just isn't a point. But I'll check back later and hope there is one then (or maybe make one myself?)

    I need tree style tabs and flash block before i consider moving to chrome. I need my browser to stay usable even with 100+ tabs damnit! Noscript is not a must but would be missed if I switched.

    New intel drivers! Need that flash!
    No problems here with karmic btw. I did an upgrade from 9.04->9.10 beta->release on my desktop and a new install on my laptop. I thought the new theme was awful though and changed it quickly to "New Wave" (customized to remove the steppers on scrollbars:) hate those things).
    Boot feels pretty fast. Didn't try encryption.

    Pretty sure this isn't true. The ubuntu installer complained a bit when I tried it a version or two ago but it let me do it. Don't remember if the install succeeded though.

    B) thought the iPhone would fail
    C) proclaimed there was no way Google would ever buy YouTube

    Maybe he just overestimates peoples judgement and ability?
    A mouse is a lot slower for a lot of things
    The iphone is "cool" but not very useful
    How much money have google lost on youtube?

    An easier way is:
    1) download the DVD in your format of choice
    2) purchase the DVD (optional)
    3) transfer it to the device
    4) enjoy
    5) Backup original so you don't lose or destroy it. (if 2))

    It's not easy for a computer to multiply those two numbers! You would have to perform 2^56582998 multiplications (on a 64-bit processor) and as many additions... That would take pretty much literally forever.

    You can move the menus in firefox to a single icon using the compact menu 2 addon. It's pretty nice.
