Not only do we have landers, rovers, and satellites around another planet, but we can coordinate them so one of the orbiting satellites can take a picture of a lander as it is landing!

I know I shouldn't have, like any good/.er, but I read the article. The $42 million includes shipping from KSC to the airport nearest the purchasing museum. You still have to pay to get it from the airport to the display site.
I'm not sure this would teach skepticism in the general sense, but at least would show that science can say anything and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Just teach them about the dangers of DHMO and then reveal what it is a few days later.
I'm pretty sure the Rocket Racing league is planning something similar.
According to the Wikipedia, they are planning a game which will allow people to compete virtually along with actual racers.
Technically, it is due to piracy. Because of all the anti-piracy measures, people aren't buying. Those anti-piracy measures were put in place to counter piracy.
Therefore, indirectly, it is due to piracy.
No they don't. At least not in anywhere near a usable state. One (that actually flew in space once in 1988) is crushed under a building, another is on its way to a museum in Australia. And another is a simulator ride in Moscow.
Helping SpaceX finish their Falcon 9/Dragon capsule launch system would be easier and more cost effective.
Its much easier to spell things when you have more letters than just AGTC. However, for now we just have to guess what the new ones are as the article doesn't say.
All radio broadcasts should pay the same amount in royalties to the artists (and if necessary, the RIAA). All radio broadcasts includes: terrestrial AND internet. A radio broadcast is a radio broadcast, no matter the medium./Logic, its cool.
ITAR restricts technology related to satellites and launch vehicles to a select group of individuals and prevents export to other countries without a lot of hassle. If it is open source, how are they going to prevent other nations from getting the plans to these "weapons"?
The number might be higher if people realized (or admitted, depending on how you view it) that those online flash distractions and card games are actually video games.
The issue, as I understand it, is not that there aren't other browsers available but that the consumer must go out of their way to get the other browser and avoid the bundled IE in their OEM systems.
In all likelyhood you shouldn't need to. Accounts and directory structure will carry over with the dist update. You may need to redo the video drivers and reconfigure the screen resolution. Before upgrading back up your xorg.conf.
Gutsy does have much better GUI-based tools for configuring screen resolution than any of it's predecessors.
Upgrade when update manager tells you there is a new distro available instead of downloading the disk and doing a clean install. It will make transferring everything like the accounts easier.
Very likely.
Its also likely if you just (within a week or two ago) purchased your mac you might be able to get the new version free of charge. I know this happened with my parents computer and Panther awhile back.
Don't give the RIAA any ideas. Even though this is occurring in another country, this may give them some sort of precedent (in their eyes) to try and pull it off here.
The Falcon 1 uses one engine.
The Falcon 9 uses nine engines.
I'll let you figure out how many engines the canceled Falcon 5 had.
The X Prize Foundation was in charge of running the contest. It was their decision to bend the rules.

Umm, SpaceX's website has the launch time listed in PDT and EDT and UTC. Also, the launch is officially scheduled for 7:00p EDT.
It's about time! I really hope they make sure he pays the court costs.

Don't you mean injection averages?

"gksu update-manager -d" works as well.

Well, they might just give store credit for 50% of the difference...
