When was the last time you saw someone moderate something on slashdot without thinking it through? Considering I wasted 4 mod points on this thread already, I decided to throw it all away for an attempt at one lame joke.
This unfortunately doesn't work. My HTC Touch Dual I purchased about 12 months ago, has this "feature". Problem is though, the UK ROM allowed people to change/turn off the shutter tone, but in Australia I was not -- it's also really, really loud.
The worst part is, it makes me feel like a fucking tourist when I take a photo anywhere. First it has the zoom/focus noise and then the click of the shutter. I'll be in my back yard, taking a photo of something in the garden, and no matter what I feel like a criminal, and that everyone else around me thinks that I'm taking a photo of my junk.
Google Mobile has had a whole heap of apps available to download to your phone for free, such as their Google Search plugin for your Windows Mobile home screen.
Hmmm. After clicking my links and realising it wasn't available to download, have a read of this.

are the ones on the platforms at train stations. (In QLD anyway) The closest thing we have to this in sports around here is either during swimming, or between balls during a test match, when the commentators are bored and start drawing lines all over my TV.
Linux would be great for gaming, since the OS itself uses so little memory, it means there's a good chance that games are going to run faster than on Windows (XP) with explorer.exe taking up a large chunk of memory.
Why don't we take the same approach as they do to distro's of linux, a group of smart-minded people gather together, make a product, release it to the community, and then it starts from there. Modding, including ideas, etc. I'm sure there are many enthusiastic programmers and graphics designers out there eager to get into a project like this, but they have no idea where to put their name.
Nevermind,
Mac easiest to hack, says $10,000 winner
He also said that Mac was just as insecure as Windows and that Windows gets attacked mainly because of the number of people using it.
I tried to find some sort of source for this, but instead found this:
Windows 7 PC Outlasts Mac In Security Test, at PWN2OWN.
I'm sure a lawyer from Microsoft would say the same thing about their own company.
All hail the INANIMATE CARBON ROD!
In Rod We Trust.
What about space crocodiles with lasers?
But WILL IT BLEND?
I'm gonna go out on a limb here... and say yes.
We all know they look the same!
"PlayingWithWire makes a bold analogy: 'If Joomla! is Linux, then WordPress is Mac OS X.'"
What's all this Linux and Mac OS X talk?! I'm a slashdotter! I DEMAND a car analogy to help better my understanding.
Thank you.
4. Yeah, we could shut down the THC, and screw up England and the West Coast. That would cool things down. Didn't you see the movie?
You're right, shutting down the distribution of THC would certainly hinder the West Coast... Hip Hop scene.
No you idiot! We're going to try and take over the world!
Just 16 screws? And it should only take you 20 minutes? I wish I was lucky enough to join the Mile High Club in such style!
but I waffled a pony?
Well, we were warned...
ZOMBIES AHEAD!
...Duke Nukem Forever I think it was called?

If I know the Suzy you're talking about, then you deserve to get caught.

I first thought of a one of the many Crysis barrel explosion clips, and decided to post this one purely because of the sound track.
WTF?
Just make sure it doesn't drop below 50 or we're all FUCKED!

This was more directed at this comment to be honest.
