Of course it is deceiving to use 4G in your marketing in countries where it does not offer that capability. If I tried to sell a goose and wrote LAYS GOLDEN EGGS! with a smaller disclaimer of "may not actually lay golden eggs" underneath, that would also be misleading.

World Government, you may tax the Internet after you implement this. Which I know you will never do.

If YouTube is taxed for being evil by responding to the helpless European telco customers' requests, what should happen?
    1) YouTube deducts the tax from what they pay their network partners for their bandwidth, angering those telcos
    2) YouTube compensates the tax by charging for the telco customers' access, angering them
    3) YouTube starts blocking the loss-inducing European visitors en masse, making it less interesting to have a private internet subscription at all, thus decimating the number of customers.

Pick any option. Or don't make such a stupid tax.

No, you are right, it was not a jihad, it was missionaries backed by colonizing armies. The Christian imperial nations colonized far more land than the Muslims ever did - including said Muslim countries. When Spanish soldiers went out into cities to test their newly sharpened swords on the local population in South America, it was all in fun, not a jihad. So yeah, there hasn't been a Christian jihad, because they called slaughtering the natives something else.

People get laid off all the time, and they change careers as necessary. Also: For every formulaic TV show episode with overpaid stars there are five entertaining videos on YouTube. But maybe Hollywood wants to remove that, too, in their hunt for artificially propping up their income. If someone spends $100 million making a movie, that does not mean anyone has any duty to give them back their money in the form of tickets or sales. There is no entitlement to success in business.
