Okay the fine is okay but say they pay this fine. Who in the end will suffer, they may but in the end it will be us as consumers. This is the biggest fine in history don't you think they are going a little overboard. Unless the EU is going to give us some of that money then woot:P
As per all Linux's out there You still have to tweak and make things work. Still they haven't got Bluetooth wireless headsets to work properly.
And Gaming lets not even go there
Apparently people didn't understand the statement I was talking about I guess I will quote it.
"A breath of fresh air in the murky air of pollution spewed by the RIAA/MPAA"
Which means that the guy that wrote it is saying that our laws are shit compared to the US laws and the RIAA and MPAA are right in saying this.
I am very happy we have someone like DR. Geist backing us up if we didn't we would of already have had laws like the US. No one in the world wants those Laws except the RIAA and the MPAA.
wow are you are big idiot or just a fan boy of the RIAA. You know if it were for Canadian copyright laws sites like youtube would not exist. So let the US spew there BS but don't say its good. We don't have CR laws the same as the US and its a good thing.
How can you say that with a straight face when the DMCA is purely an American law?
I can say it with a straight face because I believe that Canada has way better laws on copyright then the ancient historical laws of the US. But keep your Copy rights away from me.

Most of the time it comes down to what wiring inspectors will say is good and they usually do other tests that most of us don't have the tester for. I would go for the professional cables also. In a professional setting. In a non professional its safe to go with your own cabling.
To me the real issue is not that Jack Thompson spammed the senate but the fact he is pushing his bill. I think we as a people should be able to decide what our kids play and watch not have and intermediate like the US government. This is bad for consumers, Game developers, Game Distributors, and Stores. Why lets someone like this run our lives.
I am thinking that really the only one in fault here is the person that put it on the internet. This doesn't seem like theft to me stealing electronics signals that are 1s and 0s. If it is then we are doing that everyday we use the internet. Unless he stole a physical copy of it. I just think they really need to rethink what they consider laws. And by the way it is just a movie.
Why would I need to I don't need to follow copyright laws from the states. "Copyright is a form of intellectual property which gives the creator of an original work exclusive rights for a certain time period in relation to that work, including its "publication, distribution and adaptation"; after which time the work is said to enter the public domain. Copyright applies to any expressible form of an idea or information that is substantive and discrete. Some jurisdictions also recognize "moral rights" of the creator of a work, such as the right to be credited for the work."

So where in the copyright does it say you cant download and view unless it is vaguely stated in distributed.
copied from wiki, http://thinkexist.com/dictionary/meaning/adaptation/ and http://www.elook.org/dictionary/distribution.html
Technically copyright laws are beyond me. I believe they state that you cant reproduce or give it away for money but the law is vague if I remember. As if the movie studio isn't going to make money off the movie. Lets see, first you bring it to theaters, then send out movies for sale and rental, then the toys they will make to sell to kids, posters. I don't know if I have everything but the movie company's are bastards.
I did read a math book as in the web just read the picture not the actually sphere word. that would be a better type of media anyways DVD balls:P use a metal core with the crystal over the top of it:P then they could use magnets to hold it in place for reading and writing:D
I guess I should of read the website instead of using there picture of a sphere which is a circle. but my math wasn't failing by the way if you take the original value I gave 4. TB that would be the right amount for both sides:D
wow my math is not failing I am just failing too early in the morning for me to be awake:( Forget to half the diameter still equals a lot of space for a quarter:)

The RIAA needs to get with the times and I am not talking the 1800s when the laws were made .

RIAA should just go away taking their fans to court is so wrong. They should be ashamed of themselves.
