Look at the statistics for long term survival after being resuscitated. If you have a chronic disease you might not want to be dragged back for a few more months. And the longer you are down the more brain damage you suffer - don't think want to come back a moron (not a lot brain matter to spare).
Vim is the only editor I'll use. Well when I'm working in MS products such as Visual Studio I have to use ViEmu. Which works great since I have VIM inside VS. Love the fact that people are now emulating Vim. Love the that I can edit a 6M log file with no significant impact on the system and still have full search capability.
Thanks Bram, I owe you days of saved time over the years.
You can have both. There is an add-in for VSS that provides vim like editor functionality inside the IDE - its called VIEMU. (Not affilicated - just really like the product.)
Microsoft keyboards can be easily cleaned but you do need to take them apart. Just remove a couple screws and pull the circuit board aside and the rest can be easily washed in the sink and then reassembled after the parts dry.
That federal law only deals with Taxation. The states still control the legality of the brewing itself. "States remain free to restrict, or even prohibit, the manufacture of beer, mead, hard cider, wine and other alcoholic beverages at home."
Not so true. In fact the post-prohibition laws granted the states almost complete control over alcohol. State laws have been past in most states to permit the brewing of about 100g/adult/year but these are mostly over the last 20 years and before that it was most definitely illegal to home brew.

You got me at 'I kept her feet warm (she always liked that)". Sorry for your loss but it sounds like you had a wonderful bunch of years there.
Don't bother using command.com, download TCC LE from JP Soft. Its free. Works like cmd but adds lots of great extra features.
Slashdot'ed already

Wimp - what's wrong with $ cat - >file
That was fine in my youth but I got tired of making typos and having to start from the beginning, although it did help my typing skills.

Why do I read this on a day that I don't have moderator points. Anyway +1 for informative and +1 for being right! (well, IMHO, anyway)

That's why he wants the laptop - so he can do productive work during the commute - something you can't do in a car - love the train!
