In the TV world, 125K per episode is NOTHING for such a popular show. Ray Romano gets 16 times that much (around $2,000,000) per episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond".
I know there's a big difference between live actors and voice actors, but if you're going to be complaining about people making too much, don't complain about these guys.

Yes! The Proxomitron is a wonderful piece of software, is free, and the most configurable (and therefore most flexible) pop-up blocker that exists.
The best part is that it's not only useful for pop-up blocking. It can kill any annoyance on webpages from background MIDIs to animated GIFs. It can ADD things to pages as well - I have it configured to add a sliding sidebar to any page on the forums I visit with links to each individual subforum.
I had it posted on my website with the referral link already in there. It actually would have been MORE work for me to take it out of there, and I'm lazy.
Why should it matter, anyway? If I was fishing for referrals, I would have put the link in my other post in this topic, and not in that one.
Sure, you may not have enough music to fill up that 20GB, but that doesn't mean that you'll never use the space.
I have a 10GB Archos MP3 player, and while I only keep about half of that full of music, I find it incredibly convenient for transporting groups of large files between places. It works just like an external hard drive.
Like it or not, Microsoft hardware is not only good and reliable, but if something DOES go wrong with it, they have an absolutely incredible replacement program (replacing products even after the warranty is over with no questions asked).
I have a MS keyboard and two Intellimouse Explorers and couldn't be happier with them. In my opinion, the original Intellimouse Explorer is the perfect mouse.
Walmart is just suggesting a good piece of hardware to go along with the computer they sell.
Repeat after me, Slashdot: Just because it's Microsoft doesn't necessarily mean it's bad.
One thing to note for people who don't actually read the article, this is a car that is not only just a concept, but is a concept aimed at the type of women who would never open the hood anyway.
Yes, but:
1) Amazon doesn't charge tax.
2) Amazon has a LOT more than just books, and the deals they have on that stuff can be incredible sometimes.
I hear there's this website called DealMeIn.net that's really good!

He didn't say it was a mac...

It truly is a wonderful piece of software.
Oh no! Not a referral link!

Actually, mine costs half as much as a mini. Not an iPod, but it works just as well.
People who are concerned with cost probably wouldn't be buying an iPod in the first place, though.

Err, I really don't recommend microwaving your tinfoil suit.
Of course, because EVERY RFID tag that will be installed anywhere is made specifically to spy on you! There are NO other legitimate uses, right?
Actually, if you can make your way to an FYE/Coconuts, you can get it for $119 after a $30 rebate.
The ratio of people to cake is too big...
Do we get cake?
US politicians have no problem with terrorists, as it only creates more jobs
Which is why we saw a huge economic takeoff after 9/11, right?
Would you rather have a half-finished OS be released?
Because in Japan, throwing random English words into product names / posters / conversations is the cool thing to do.

Well, you could always set your browser cache to a huge amount of space and never clear it.
Don't whiz on the electric fence!
The XBox already supports high-definition.
Because Slashdot is full of elitist schmucks?
Sheesh, what the hell would you do with 18Tb of RAM in a desktop computer?
"18Tb of RAM should be enough for everyone!"
Hypothetically, though, what happens if it does contribute to blocking a terrorist attack?
Would you change your mind about it?
Would you rather have a few hundred people dead or have a little information stored about you in a database?
Just playing devil's advocate here.
I played movieoke once.
All was well until my friends got too drunk and suggested we perform a scene from "Debbie Does Dallas".
I have since decided it's not the game for me.

The headline should have been much, much clearer.
