If you own a wii right now, you're an early adopter. I think you should expect a drought of games. One thing's for sure: you will have your games soon enough. Developers will not ignore the wii, but it takes time for that to reach your living room.

Next time, if you get upset when your console doesn't have a bunch of games... don't buy your console until it's been out long enough to have a bunch of games. You paid a premium for early access to a cool toy, and wiser consumers (than you or me, since I buy the new stuff too) will get better systems for less money.

Zooming in on text sucks. Are you typing this from your wii? Probably not. even though that couch is so comfy, you need a higher resolution to have a decent amount of information in front of your god damn eyeballs.

Why don't you sit ten feet from your computer screen andenlarge your text to where you can read it. Is that nicer?

Get a god damn 720p TV for 600 bucks and get a nice old pc for 300 and get a nice new wireless keyboard and mouse. That's what I'm using to type right now. It's more expensive than a wii, but you get the TV.

Nobody is attacking nintendo, so you can resist your urge to chime in and defend it. How odd that people do that! I remember last time I said something benign about an iphone I got modded a troll. We truly do live in a corporate culture. To the point where corporations are devoutly worshiped. Nintendo is neat. I'm sure they will release another terrible game system eventually (soon, probably), because that's what Nintendo does usually. Sony is doing it today, and your savior will do it tomorrow. It's not as good for gaming as the 360 (I prefer the online selection on XBOX live when I get bored). The PS3 is trying something innovative. It's pushing a format somewhat well that will earn more than ten times what Nintendo will earn from the wii and more than the PS2 earned if Sony succeeds.

Who cares if it's going to be the most popular system? Any great game will cross platforms (and probably look fine on PS3.

Nintendo is a pretty cool company now... and so obviously would not be had Sony not shattered Nintendo's wildest dreams of success in video games. Yeah, Sony isn't the market leader. Premium brands don't work that way. The PS2 and the PS3 are different strategies entirely.
