You must be joking. The Supreme Court, I guarantee, will allow this law to stand by 5-4... assuming that it would even grant that a plaintiff has "standing" to bring the suit. The 4 conservative justices would almost certainly find for the government, and Kennedy would probably go with them.
In Europe, so I'm told, it's polite to put a silencer on your gun when you're at a shooting range. I wouldn't mind if it was considered polite here as well.
I wouldn't rely on a Mosin for home defense. The 91/30 is too big and the bolt too prone to sticking. The SKS is not quite as cheap but last I checked you could get a decent one for about $150, and the folding bayonet is nice in case someone gets too close. Or if you want to stick with 54R I'd get a Polish M44.
Ah, but soon you/can/ get an automatic weapon in Kansas. Starting on 1 July this year, Kansas residents may own automatic weapons, silencers, and sawed-off shotguns.
Could they get better resolution by using gamma rays, or (besides the radiation hazard) is there a technical problem with using higher-frequency photons?
It will go to the Senate soon enough, and it's expected to pass. I hope Dodd will filibuster again and that the powers that be won't have enough votes to shut him up.
SRSLY. Use an older driver for that machine, or look at the Omega Drivers, which are optimized and have cut-down control interfaces. What Machtyn said, a 6600 is wasted on that FPOS Duron. Something that old could be at home with an old GF4MX or Radeon 7000.
American cities generally aren't designed for mass transit or walking, especially in the Midwest and West. It's a result of decades of cheap fuel, really, and now we're starting to pay for it.
Agree. We plan on aborting if we find that our unborn would be badly damaged. Aside from our inconvenience WRT money, etc., it's just not fair to bring the kid into the world if he's going to suffer for his whole life.
My old car had a bumper sticker that said "Doing my part to PISS OFF the Religious Right". I'm in Southwest Missouri, which has a bit more than its fair share of said group.
The sticker got damaged once or twice, at least one was obvious vandalism: someone had tried to peel it off but failed, getting only a bit on the edge. Other damage could have plausibly been wear from being misapplied (it was on a curved surface).
I was pleasantly surprised that this was the only time; I'd thought it would get removed fairly quickly. Sometimes I'd see people in my rearview mirror reading it and the other stickers and laughing.

You dumbed it down enough for Dan Quayle, too.
ROR. 5 points to Profane MuthaFucka!
"God wouldn't let the earth get too hot"
Yes, kids, there really are people like that. One of my co-workers "thinks" like that.

No, a slashdotter refers to a retarded and predictable meme.
Oh, the editors do on occasion edit submissions. This one, for example, had pretty much none of my original prose.
Of course, soulskill was new back then, so maybe he hadn't learned yet.
No, I think there retarded meme posts you.
But how do I run my TSRs?
This is funny, not interesting.
No, dipshit, I asked if resolution could be improved with higher-freq light. Learn to read.

Bond's one of my senators. I'm proud to say that I never voted for him.

Yes, we in the USA haven't had a properly declared war since World War II.
He /is/ III. You forget George Washington.
I'm pretty happy with 12.0. Are the new features in 16.0 worth it?
When is Macallan going 1.0?

As have HP/Compaq and Lenovo.
