FYI NTSC changed it to 15.73426kHz for color, not sure why Wikipedia rounded up the color burst 3.58MHz from 3.574595MHz its only significant because it was formulated so the harmonics didn't screw with anything else and they could add color with getting rid of all the black and white tvs.
how is this different from an actual MAFIA? this isn't even like the difference from loan sharks charging 20% and going to jail for extortion and visa doing the same thing and being a profitable business... This is an actual threat to a learning instituion.
use a PIC microcontroller. the nicest 8 bit microcontroller costs $4 and a programmer costs ~$40 (the software is free), have them wire up a circuit by example on a breadboard and then have buttons and switches correspond to leds(20mA sink/source, so don't need a output transistor). you could get to a point where you can run a dc motor in place of a led. teach them simple assembly and how to use it instead of a proprietary langauge they can't use at home with out a lot of money. Teach them something fun they don't have to be in front of a computer to play with. Assembly teaches good logic concepts that make every other language cake.
Where is the schematic? What is the 8 pin DIP in the socket? i'd suppose it would be a PIC microcontroller or something, if it was then where is the code? But idk if it is just an OPAMP. Does it actually pulse codes or does it do a random oscillation of the IRs until something shuts off?
the site says it's rated E http://www.fratpartygames.com/ so wtf? now children can start practicing beer pong young? big victory for overprotective parents!
Have any of you ever been to rock port? or any where in the loess hills? go there and then try and tell me that wind isn't blowing all the time. Besides not contributing to a power grid would be retarded for the enviromental factor. a nuclear plant and a wind farm in a place like this would not need any fossil fuels.
I hope someone ignores the assholes who modded me down and gave me shitty karma...
Would someone else please read this article, and not count the author's biases against jews against his integrity? http://www.vialls.com/wecontrolamerica/peakoil.html (the page renders funny for me, except when i set Opera to user mode)
it talks about how the west drills oil wrong and russia figured out the truth. It came off as the best conspiracist theory ever at first but as I read on and thought about it, it seemed plausable.
if anybody does read this article email me your thoughts because no one i talk to likes reading long articles...

its main use (for kids my age) is for seeing how fast all the sluts you went to high school with, are turning into acutal whores in college, the pictures are pretty awesome. So stalking, i guess is the appeal? i'm guessing theres an age gap here, but you can put in your high school, college and work. you can then pull up classmates. add them as friends, see pictures of them and know all there activities(depending on how much they put in of course) and you can only see people you know, or in your "network" which is a city school or employer. you can only have one city network too.
Bush is progressive? WTF is the PATRIOT Act? I don't think he was going for NAZI progressive... And Hell yea, Make the poor, poorer and breakout the guns, viva La Révolution!
legislation in the US (or anywhere else) don't mean shit to china... I'm sure there is legislation in place to keep lead paint off toys(and everything).
If you want something made to a decent quality bring it back to US factories. China don't give a shit about anyone. i watched a PBS special where they showed how they're poisoning themselves, in one part a paper mill was dumping chemicals straight in to the river where the whole province drinks and gets water from (it was making everyone sick), unless an inspector was coming(they always knew ahead of time). They told about a folk song about the factory is being inspected if the river isn't foamy white. Everything is so corrupt their that people who tried to get action taken got their ass beat by people afraid of losing a job. And when the factory get the book thrown at them its a fine(about $10,000 USD).
As for capitalism? I'm unsure what the hell is capitalistic about allowing unfair competition. We couldn't compete if we were able to pay chinese wages because our country has enforced environmental laws. Being an extremist on the subject i'd close all trade to Asia (except japan). I think getting rid of jobs in the US is more un-capitalistic. we should open factories and make them compete against each other. Maybe have actual innovation? Like when new ideas came form Bell Labs or Xerox's PARC instead of government funded universities?
Have any of you ever seen or used a Stirling engine? They aren't very easy to get running right. The heat eventually gets evenly distributed and theirs no way to make it move until it cools down. Thats why they weren't that widely used originally and were only good for things like pumping water, since it could cool the block while pumping. My dad made one of the original 2 cylinder ones and I think it was probably a flaw in the design that caused it to stop. My old man, he's in tool and die and has to machine things down to ridiculous tolerances smaller than 1/100 the width of human hair, and he made it at work with those same CNC mills and lathes. The model had heat fins and only had to move a fan. Looking at the site it doesn't describe cooling, it has a little line on a diagram of one of their engines that says cooling and points to a blue piece. With water cooling, i would think it would suck a lot of power from the engine and you would need to push more water the bigger you make it. So i'm thinking between cost of engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance of the wearing parts also the fact they don't work as well in hot weather with all the places crazy about solar being hot (arizona,california...) solid state could probably beat it out for $/watt.
2 and 3 cd xvid's are not noticeable in difference to me on my 56" DLP. that's still 1/3 to 1/6 the size of a DVD. Every MP3 group that posts on USENET hates when there shit shows up on P2P and even TORRENT services(read an NFO) they don't want to be included with those morons.

Thanks for that... those assholes are the same reason i have bad karma
I think that would of been a catchier title...

You buy a cell phone and cellular service to get a wireless telephone. But if you pay extra you can turn it in to a wireless telegraph!
