I would have been first to post but the bloody advertising bottlenecked me. I'm going to head over to Rotten Tomatoes, I'm sure that won't happen there.
It's not unusual to add unknown defendants to an action where all the tortfeasors are not known yet. This is simply a precautionary measure to ensure that Apple can bring a claim for damages against a party unknown to them should, through out the course of the proceedings, it is found that an unnamed defendant arises. By not adding an unknown party, would leave them in a situation where they would have to reinitiate the process from the start. As someone stated earlier it's simply a case of covering all bases.
Doesn't matter how much RAM they pump into these things, the game ultimately has to be optimized to leverage the new memory. If you check most benchmarks in Tom's Hardware, you'll see no significant gains and potentially a loss if the game or driver's aren't optimized to take advantage of the new memory.
Why is it that Asus feels compelled to copy Nintendo's Wii hardware on their latest releases...first their Eee PC and now ripping off the Wii-mote/Nunchuk...what's next a balance board to replace their keyboards?
This seems to be impractical to leave on the street while you run into your local coffee shop or 7-11 for a drink. I also suspect that it wouldn't hold up to an accident very well.
If I become intoxicated and play a driving game like Need For Speed would that be disrespectful too? To be safe I should just stick to playing intoxicated Halo 3..
Surely MADD must realize that by going public like this Rockstar gets a ton of free high-profile publicity. Was nobody at MADD aware of GTA III and it's free publicity from various advocacy groups?
You don't need Skype for voice communications

EBay Mulling Skype Sale
·
· Score: 5, Insightful
Ebay originally believed that Skype would oil the wheels of its online markets by making communications easier between buyers and sellers If there was a viable business model here, I would imagine that phone numbers, along with the shipping name and address, would have already been part of the personal information that would have been available after an auction was won. Skype would have only added some mild anonymity.
Honestly, I think that most people prefer the impersonal interaction of e-Bay.
"...just imagine how accurate a search could be if every time you had a query, the mass of data about you that exists on the Internet could inform the results." Yes, Google Ads do this to a limited extent by trying to determine what you're interested in by your search and email content. However, for the most part, it's doubtful that most people would knowingly want to share this information for this purpose it was intented for as the line is too blurry between helpful tool and opportunities to spam.
People wouldn't stop, usage would simply change as people found other methods of acquiring their music, movies and software such as usenet, irc etc. This could also lead to the discovery of new and unthought of methods.
Being able to withstand shoves and kicks is essential if robots are to truly be our buddies I don't typically shove or kick my buddies unless you do alot of sparring. It's more like, being able to withstand shoves and kicks is essential if robots are to engage in combat.

Perhaps if Google had come out with this a year or so before the iPhone but unfortunately most of us geeks have made a choice for the next 3 years.

Call in Jack Bauer, I'm sure he'll have them back within 24 hours.

Yes, YouTube has privacy settings as well but you can only invite up to 25 users to view the video under this setting.
This is clearly a thinly disguised promotion for the Incredible Machine 4!

Not the first, not the last, not ground breaking...not news worthy.
