"Serenity Colbert". Make it sound like a persons name. It uses the first and second place names. People might call it Serenity for short, but it still is a win for Stephen Colbert (Serenity Colbert/Stephen Colbert - they are very close). Or is "Colbert's Serenity" a better name?
A few options I can think of: 1. Play games where you take turns (think Golf games and the like) 2. There were a few first-person shooter games that supported split screen (I know I tried it with Serious Sam a number of years ago). Probably nothing recent, since the console is for that type of game. 3. I remember playing a racing game that supported split screen. I mostly liked/played the rally type of racing, so try Colin McRae or some of the similar PC games to see which one (or more) it was that supported split-screen.
You are already running dd-wrt on your router... Get a NAS that will be low power storage. Then smb mount your nas from your dd-wrt router to run any linux stuff you need on it. Then you can ssh into your router from the internet and still have access to linux and all your storage. Granted, your "linux" box will be a 200Mhz (or so) machine, but for a low power solution it may be enough. And there are plenty of extras that you can install on dd-wrt...
RAID 5 drives are limited to the size of the smallest drive in the array....even if I gradually replace all of the drives with larger ones, the array will still read the original size. For example, say I have 3x500gb drives in RAID 5 and over time replace all of them with 1TB drives.
Get a hardware raid card with features to do the things you want... for example:
I have an LSI raid card (6 SATA connections):
If I have 3 400GB drives, I have 800GB of raid5 storage (2x400GB usable)
If I add a 1TB drive, I have 3x400GB of usable space, so 1.2TB
If I add two more 1TB drives, I have 5x400GB of usable space, plus with 3 or more 1TB drives with 600GB free on them, I can create another raid5 array with 2x600GB usable space.
With 3 400GB and 3 1TB drives, I have 5x400GB usable space, and 2x600GB usable space.
Then if I swap out one of the 400GB for a 1TB drive, I have 5x400GB usable and 3x600GB usable.
If I end up with all 6 1TB drives, I would have 5x400GB usable and 5x600GB usable. All Raid5

Yep, the Steam copy protection sucks. Of course, there are ways around that... One reason for finding such ways around it could be if you had it on a laptop that you didn't connect to the internet. I connected to the internet with my laptop to install and play the first time. After that, it would go into off-line mode when playing the game if I wasn't on the net. But you could only play so many times in off-line mode before it told you it had to connect to the internet. Obviously they want to make sure you didn't install a copy of someone else's game and just play it on yours from then on, or something like that. Kind of a pain for those of us with mobile PC's.
I guess as long as you are always on the internet, don't mind big brother keeping track of what you are doing all the time, the Steam Servers don't go down (like they did a lot when HL2 first came out), you don't intend to ever play the game in the future when the Steam servers might be gone, and your internet never goes down when you want to play, then you shouldn't have anything to complain about!
Most atomic clocks don't have rules for when to switch to DST. They just use the code from the time from NIST, which includes a flag to indicate whether DST is in effect or not. As long as NIST changes when they include the DST flag, Atomic clocks should switch to DST on the correct day.
All we need is someone to "builds a space ship from his scrap pile in order to retreive valuable parts left on the moon" and in space by Astronauts, the kind of thing you might find in a tv show.
Most Turbo-charged cars seem to want higher octane gas, so evidently they are tuned for the higher octane. I drive a SAAB 9-3 turbo and do notice lower MPG with cheaper gas. (EPA 21/29 and I average 29 for city/highway mix).
> Notice that no one on Buffy wore catsuits. Right, nobody wore catsuits. Except for the episode where Cordelia wore a catsuit for Halloween. No catsuits except for that one. So, very few catsuits then, right.
Don't forget screen savers. For some people, that's all they have to let them know their 3D video card actually works.
My favorites, especially skyrocket (OpenGL, GPL): Really Slick.
I haven't seen anyone port these to linux yet, but that would be great to see (knowwhatImean knowwhatImean, nudge nudge, wink wink).

Probably just time to write a book. ;-)
What are these "books" that you speak of? And can I get an RSS feed of it when it's done?
There will be cake...
The cake is a lie...
Sounds more like a computer game than a graphics specification...

Ok... I've watched the Victoria's Secret ad over and over, and I still can't find the.... uhm... what was I looking for again?
You can get a TiVo that has TiVo Basic, which gives you VCR like functionality and a bit more, without any monthly fee. I have the Toshiba SD H400 (which is a TiVo and a DVD Player). See http://customersupport.tivo.com/knowbase/root/publ ic/tv1199.htm
