When I first heard him speak I heard a man who was humble but had a messianic flavor to his thoughtful way of articulating and explaining his positions on various subjects, who was educated, who was like someone I could bump into and chat with at work and learn something cool from. He sounded like a kind teacher who would let everyone out 20 minutes early. He sounded like the cool boss who would let you take a day off if he saw you were stressed out.... he also had leadership in his voice and if he asked me to do something I would do it because it sounds like his heart is in the right place: progress and compassion for everyone.
I know utopia is impossible just like perfection, but it is something we can get close to if we stop being so destructive and selfish and at least try to get there.
So will his changes work? Well with the best intentions I believe most of them will do a bit of good, and yes he will make some mistakes just like YOU and ME but in the end he is a more compassionate person than the republicans would like you to think. They enjoy their temper tantrums calling him a "facist" or a "socialist" as they try and be the richest a selfish cowboy reverend preacher they can be.

My biased POV: I don't think it's right for someone to have millions of dollars when others have jack shit. Try going from jack shit to millions of dollars.. it rarely happens. And when it does, it is often characterized as a result of or wonderful society we live in eg "the american dream". The reason someone has millions of dollars? Easy: Because we (actually the planet) have limited resources and some claim to own those resources.
And what is owning the resources? Easy: Very skillfull taking. I was born on the planet with just as much of a right to own the dirt that someone else claims to own. I can and do work just as hard as anyone else, wealthy or not.

They often dont even pay for their accounts, just to receive emails from all you suckers is good enough for them! Or they are looking to hire a man to pay their bills. It is not Veoh's job to be perfect moralists and to punish the wicked thieves that don't want to pay for something until they love it.
That hinders social progress - this whole false moral crime thing. It just wastes resources, like war does.
Every bit of destruction and waste and futile squabbling amounts to lost time and inaction for the human race.
Currently I feel social progress is made of 99% setbacks and gets more complex exponentially as more people are created - now nobody is ultimately responsible for anything! So I hope this Judge's decision hopefully is that missing 1% of progress we need.... ugh
I wish progress was more streamlined so I could own a space cruiser and have a cyborg body that has free music 24/7 FTW
