    a request to Ban all distro news from /. except GNU/debian ? i mean the others are not truly open are they now ?

    and while we are at it we might as well write
    a kernel patch that will only let you run RMS-certified software and a browser that wil only let you see RMS-certified websites.

    Would that make the man happy or does he realy want world domination ?

    Main use i have seen for them is artsy pictures
    like here.
    polaroid doen not only come in the small sizes most consumers know them, they have some verry big film as well (think poster size)

    A) your not a criminal if you dont have your ID
    B) alot 16-year-olds in belgium drive 50cc "moterbikes" so they also need an idee for that
    c) drinking age is 16, yes they rearly check your id for that but hey we like our beer so we take no chances :)
    d) I had to show my ID more when i was in the states for 1.5 months then i did in my live in belgium, I felt like i was in a police state, and most ppl i was with had 3 id's on em (drivers liscence, SSN thingy, UNI or colege card)

    Face it if your below 30Y and have a social life in the US you cant fart without having an id on you

    I have never been ID'ed without doing samething wrong'ish, and i never heard any credble story's about it, only my uncle's wife's nice her boyfriend ... storys. I have been ID'ed while not having it on me (drinving my bycile without lights) and the tend to just let it fly if it is not a real crime. I dont actualy know what they do in serious cases.

    By the way what happens if you get fined in the us without any ID on you ?

    Here in .be(elgium we have national ID cards, from age 12, you have to have them always on you from age 16 i think.
    It contains the usual stuff (name adress birthdate) and as an opt-out our version of what would be SSN#, only police and other officials can demand you to show it other people can ask it but you dont have to show it. I dont see the difference with having a driving licence on you or any other form of ID they use in the US

    be wurth the paper its prnted on in Kabul,
    remember the only afgan economy is opium (in taliban control), there would be no way to spend the money in afganistan. So you would only end up givving $10M to the taliban (the only ones with outsside contacts)

    yes apache has a larger market share, but it would need to be a cross OS, cross cpu worm to be efective, apache runs on about every os out there, and on about any cpu you can thing off while IIS runs on windows and i386 (ok and yes alpha but who buys an alpha and installs windows on it)

    hey those VulcanoII's rock mine cools my 1.2G to 38C at normal operations and max 48C during long Q3 stimpts. i gues the moral of the story is: Dont save money on your fan/sink

    might be cheaper just tu buy a copper shim, it will even cool your cpu better

    Hey i wanted to buy it here in .be, went to the store and saw i had 2 options :

    1)Buy windows version.
    2)Order linux version wait a few weeks and then pay over 25$ more for it.
    Since i didnt even realy want the game but had some money to spend on a good cause( linux gaming)
    I didnt buy any version (yes +60$ is to much for any game )

    When i asked in the store about it they told me Suse(SuSE used to distribute Loki games) stoped selling directly to them and they had to order them straigt from loki and i was paying the shipment since they would only order one copy.
